The men started beating Patricia until she couldn’t even get up from the floor. She was bruised all over. There was even blood on her face.
Propping herself up against the cabinet door, she kept howling in pain, but I ignored her. I told them to take her away before handing the keys to them. I clarified that from now on, none of this had anything to do with me.
Just in case, I blacklisted Patricia’s number and provided the debt collectors with her contact
information as well. I even took the last few things of value lying around, including the supermarket vouchers and the electric scooter outside..
I made sure that Patricia and Daniel couldn’t weasel their way out of this situation!
Refusing to accept this situation, Patricia plopped onto the ground with Daniel beside her and started cursing me out. Everyone in the neighborhood heard everything she said.
I wasn’t going to let her ruin my reputation, of course. Therefore, I took a loudspeaker and informed everyone about the things Patricia and Martin had done to me. I even hired part–time workers to hand out fliers to the passersby.
Soon, everyone in the neighborhood knew all the depraved things Patricia had done. She had already offended many people beforehand, so now, she had become a pariah among the residents.
Eventually, the property manager came along and said that Patricia and Daniel were no longer residents there. Thus, they were kicked out of the neighborhood and forced onto the streets.
Brimming with rage, Patricia continued to rant and rave about me. However, I knew she wasn’t completely penniless just yet.
Throughout these years, whenever my family needed money, Martin would say I was a pushover who allowed my family to suck me dry. Yet, whenever Patricia asked him for money, he would readily hand it over, claiming that he was just being a dutiful son.
Patricia would often drop hints to Martin, telling him to keep his guard up against me. He left all of the spare money he had in Whitney’s care. Thus, Patricia and Daniel deserved the outcome they got.
Still, when I recalled Martin buying Whitney an Hermes bag in my previous life, I was still filled with anger. I wanted to make sure that even if Martin and Whitney got out of prison, they would continue to suffer for the rest of their lives!
