Rachel explained. “An eye for an eye, but that the simplest rule of all? Can’t you see it?”
Andrew said, “What’s gotten into you? Just go and sincerely apologize to Yedda, and this whole mess will be over. Why are you so bent on making things worse? What good will that do?“
“Everyone says you’re young and excellent, a rare genius in business. But now I see you’re just a man blinded by desire, unable to tell right from wrong, replied Rachel.

Rachel said, “Would it have made any difference? You’d have just thought I was pretending. Andrew, I don’t feel bad for Yedda being scared. Even if she had died, I’d think she deserved it.

Rachel replied, “What else? In your mind, she’s a pure and innocent woman, delicate and helpless, like a white rose. But in reality, she’s just a creep hiding in the shadows.

Andrew caught up to Rachel and saw her face covered in tears. He said disdainfully. “Is it really that big of a deal? It’s just fireworks. If you want to go, I can take you next time.”
Rachel, furious, raised her hand and slapped him. Andrew was completely stunned, both angry and speechless. As he watched Rachel’s tears fall, the criticism he was about to voice got stuck in his throat. Why was she crying so much lately?‘ he thought.
At that moment, Andrew had a sadden realization. He remembered how Jennie had once clung to his arm, saying in a soft voice that she wanted to go to Haloport Disneyland to watch the fireworks show. He muttered in his mind, ‘So she’s jealous,”
Maybe it was due to Rachel’s tears or Richard’s anger from earlier, but Andrew began to realize he might have gone too far. He added inwardly. After all, Jennie is my daughter even though Rachel has spoiled her

Ignoring Andrew’s anger, Charles turned to Rachel and said, “During a divorce case, you should avoid contact with the other party as much as possible. Otherwise, the judge might think the relationship hasn’t really broken down.”

After Richard finished his meal in his room, Fiona turned back and said, “Mrs. Zevon has returned.”
“Did she ask anything more about Andrew Richard asked.

“Strange,” Richard muttered. “She was probing me about her parents earlier. Maybe she didn’t hear anything?”
