The police were here too, perfect to witness this and prevent her from trying to scam us
again in the future.
Hearing about the paternity test, Jessica panicked and instinctively refused:
“I don’t think that’s necessary, is it?”
I coldly looked at her and raised my voice:
“Not necessary? What’s wrong? Feeling guilty?”
Now Jessica was backed into a corner and had no choice but to go through with it, albeit reluctantly.
While waiting for the test results, Jessica looked tense, alternating between sitting and standing, frequently peering inside.
Alexander, on the other hand, leaned confidently by my side, smiling at me.
An hour passed, and finally the test results came out.
Jessica was the first to squeeze next to the doctor. After seeing the results, she raised
her eyebrows proudly.
“Hahaha!”
“I told you this child is Alexander’s! Look, the paternity test report says it’s his biological
child!”
Hearing this, Alexander also went over to look at the report.
After he saw it clearly, he couldn’t help but roll his eyes.
The police looked at it too, then immediately uncuffed Alexander, apologized to him, and

Seeing this, Jessica shouted arrogantly:

Hearing this, Jessica snatched the test report
“Jake Strong!”
She bit her lip and said incredulously:
“How is this possible? How do you know Jake?”
Jessica kept shaking her head, preferring to believe this was a mistake.
I didn’t know Jake before either, until after Jessica went to jail. I often saw a man coming
and going from her house.
Every time he left, he would take valuable things from the house.
So I asked Ryan to help me investigate.
It turned out that this Jake was actually Jessica’s boyfriend!
I was a bit confused. I had heard before that Jessica had a boyfriend, and he was supposedly rich and handsome!

Now I know that this supposedly rich and handsome Jake she talked about was actually just a gambling addict!
He targeted Jessica because her family was well–off and her parents had passed away
early.
She was the only child, naive and easy to trick.
So he took out a loan to rent a luxury car and gave her a few days of extravagant living.
Jessica was really stupid. Just those few days were enough for him to completely win her over, and she even got pregnant with Jake’s child.
Coincidentally, I was also getting married at that time.
When she found out Alexander was a real wealthy man, she was so jealous she almost ground her back teeth to dust.
In comparison, Jake went out gambling every other day and quickly racked up a huge
debt.
For the sake of the child in her belly, she had no choice but to pay off Jake’s debts.

With no other options, Jessica came up with the idea of trying to break us up.
