The man had only been looking for a bit of fun, and when he got caught, he turned on Mandy, claiming she had tried to seduce him and that he would not divorce his wife.
Mandy’s name was smeared with mud. David dragged her in front of her mom and Edwin, and they all started another round of hurting each other.
Bullies always found ways to be mean.
Since it was Mandy’s mom who thought she could get Mandy to cheat on him, David immediately concluded that she was the problem.
David would come home to eat when he was hungry, and if he needed money, he would ask his mother- in–law. If she did not give it to him, he would hit Mandy. If she still did not give in, he would hit all three of them.
Edwin had to go out and do backbreaking work, earning money to support his sister’s family. He lived a sad and incredibly tough life.
He felt betrayed by his own mother and sister and finally remembered how good I had been to him. He got a new number and called me.
I picked up because I knew just how bad things were for Edwin. After all, I was the one who tipped off

Edwin wanted to escape those leeches. “Janice, I’ve realized I messed up. I don’t want to eat spoiled food and wilted leaves anymore or have to flush the toilet together. They’re nothing but trouble–a curse. I’ll listen to you from now on. Can we start over and have good life? I miss you and our daughter.”
He only realized it was tough when he was the one suffering. When I complained before, he just thought.
I was a nuisance.
What did he say when Teresa died because of his mom in my past life? Now, he said he missed his daughter!
I swallowed my revulsion and answered him, “She’s your mother, after all. Saving is a good thing Wasn’t it hard for her to raise you? What’s wrong with helping out a bit? You’re complaining about your own mom now? Also, you don’t deserve to be Teresa’s dad. She’d be so embarrassed to have you as her father!”
Teresa and I had a rough ending in my past life. He, his mom, and his sister were all to blame.
Now, my mother–in–law was causing trouble for everyone. Nobody had it easy!
While I was out of touch, my mother–in–law was up to no good again.
It got cold, and to save on the heating bill, she burned charcoal inside the house and then went out to shop for groceries. She left a window cracked open, but Jared, who was chilly, shut it tight.
That was a big mistake. When my mother–in–law got back from picking up leftover veggies at the market, both kids were on the ground, poisoned by the fumes.
They did not make it even after being rushed to the hospital.
If only my mother–in–law had not been so set on those leftover veggies, the kids might have had a chance.
