Melvin was feeling troubled about the competition.

Eddie patted Melvin on the shoulder and said, “Once the results are out, I’ll have a good talk with her. After all, the revival competition is really important.”
Melvin frowned, clearly unhappy. “Back then, Katie begged me for ages to teach her how to play the game, and now she’s acting like she’s got the upper hand. When did she get so calculating?”
“If it really doesn’t work, let Rowan step in. Katie wouldn’t dare disrespect Rowan, would she?”
Sally, who was listening nearby, was filled with frustration.
She had no intention of giving up her spot to Katic. This spot was hers!
When Katie arrived at school, everyone was talking about the exam results.
One of Sally’s lackeys glanced at Katie and deliberately said loudly, “Some people have been working so hard lately. I wonder how many points they scored!”
Katie pretended to stay calm as she pulled out her textbook to study, but deep down, she was incredibly nervous.
Soon, James walked in with the grade sheet, and the whole class instantly buzzed with excitement.
James clapped the desk to quiet them down. “Quiet. Overall, the results this time weren’t great. This is not the time to slack off. A special mention to Sally–you dropped over 200 spots this time.”
Sally’s face instantly went pale. She knew she hadn’t been in the right state lately, but she didn’t expect her results to be this poor.
The teacher looked at Katie, hesitating for a moment before saying, “On the other hand, Katie has made great progress. Keep up the good work!”
A classmate immediately asked, “What’s Katie’s rank, Mr. James?”
“She’s currently ranked 100th in the grade.”
As soon as James said that, the classroom burst into an uproar.
Katie’s lips curved into a smile. She did it!
Her heart raced with excitement. Now she could finally report her results to Ryan!
All her hard work over the reist few weeks had teulu naid nit

“I suspect there’s something wrong with Katie’s score. There’s no way she could improve this much in such a short time!”
The moment those words were spoken, the classroom fell silent.
Almost everyone turned to look at Katie, their gazes filled with suspicion.
After looking at Katie’s ranking, James indeed had some doubts in his heart, but it was true that she had been working hard recently.
At that moment, Sally spoke up timidly, “Katie really wants to prove herself with good grades. After all, she made a bet with her brothers, so please don’t doubt her results. This exam is really important to her. I’m begging you.”
Sally’s words were definitely well–spoken..
Katie couldn’t help but sneer. Sally’s ability to play the innocent was truly impressive.
No wonder she had fallen for Sally’s tricks in her past life.
Sure enough, after hearing Sally’s words, James began to suspect that Katie had resorted to cheating to win the bet.
Belinda, Sally’s follower, eagerly added, “Sir, don’t cover for anyone who cheats! Recently, both Sally and Katie have been preparing for the family’s team competition, and with Sally’s score dropping so much, there’s no way Katie could have improved this much!”
Josephine chimed in, “Exactly. For the sake of fairness, I think Katie’s results should be canceled.”
When Sally noticed James hesitating, she could tell her words had gotten through.
She knew she had won this time.
Katie, you actually had the nerve to get a better score than me again. Don’t you know what kind of lesson you’ll get for that?
“Katie, aren’t you going to explain yourself?”
Feeling the teacher’s doubtful gaze on her, Katie responded calmly, “I didn’t cheat.”
That was all she said–nothing else.
In her past life, whenever her grades surpassed Sally’s, that woman would find a way to make trouble for her, causing her to always hesitate before outshining Sally.
Now, Sally was using the same old tactics again.

After some thought, James said, “Katie’s ranking will be temporarily invalidated while I investigate. If it turns out she cheated, she will receive the proper punishment.”
As soon as the teacher left, the classroom became noisy.

Belinda mocked, “I knew it. When someone’s score jumps like that, it’s obviously because they cheated.”
Sally couldn’t hide her smug expression as she quickly took out her phone to text Melvin, “What should we do? Katie cheated to get a good score, but now she’s going to be punished. I’m really worried about her!”
Katie just opened her book and started studying.
She couldn’t care less about whether her ranking would be canceled.
Sally could influence the homeroom teacher, but she couldn’t change the college entrance exam results!
Still, she felt a bit sad.
After all, she had made a deal with Ryan. If she made it into the top 100, they’d play games. together.
But lately, she hadn’t gone to the infirmary, and Ryan didn’t respond to her messages.
Katie felt a bit sad. She had finally found a friend, but in the end, maybe she had been reading too much into it.
After the morning classes ended, a girl’s scream echoed from outside the classroom.
Katic looked up and saw that it was Melvin.
What was he here for?
“Sally, your brother is so handsome!”
Sally couldn’t hide her smug expression as she stepped forward to take the small cake Melvin. offered her. “Melvin, Katie’s in the classroom. Do you want to talk to her? If she apologizes and admits to cheating, maybe she won’t get punished.”
Melvin briefly looked toward Katie in the classroom.
But Katie didn’t lift her head, quietly staring down at the textbook in her hands.
She didn’t need to guess why Melvin had come to school. Sally was impatient to see her get embarrassed.
But whether her ranking was canceled or not didn’t bother her.

Sally stood in the doorway, pretending to be concerned as she said, “Katie, Melvin’s here. You don’t need to worry.”
Katie pretended not to hear, not even sparing a glance at Melvin outside.
Melvin’s face darkened, and the worry he had felt disappeared instantly. What had he been worried about?
He said coldly, “I’ll go to the office to speak with your homeroom teacher.”
Then, he turned and left.
Sally walked over, holding the cake, and said, “Katie, Melvin only brought me one cake. He probably forgot about you. Don’t worry, I’ll share it with you later.”
Katie could see that Sally was just showing off.
She had gotten used to it–every time her brothers came to school, they would bring small gifts for Sally, but never for her.
She had even cried about it before, and Eddie told her that she wouldn’t get any gifts because she wasn’t obedient.
But now, she didn’t care about those so–called gifts at all.
Katie’s phone rang, and she was surprised to see Ryan’s name on the screen. Quickly, she stepped into the hallway, took a deep breath, and answered, “Hello.”
“How did the results turn out?”
Katie felt sad. “I was ranked 100th, but it looks like my score might get canceled.”
Ryan’s relaxed tone instantly turned serious when he heard this. “What happened?”
