Almost everyone looked at Katie.

Sally looks particularly nervous and sets the tone, saying, “Katie, Belinda and the others also accused you of cheating on your grades before. You should understand my current situation. I know you’ve always disliked me, but we are family, after all.”
Katie noticed Sally’s nervousness. Apparently, she too had moments of fear.
Katie calmly said, “I remember that it seems Sally did indeed turn around.”
She spoke the truth.
Sally’s eyes instantly filled with anxious tears. “Katie, how can you say that? Just a moment ago, you said that Belinda was lying.”
Josephine nodded. “That’s right! We all heard it. Katie, why do you keep changing your words? Who’s going to believe anything you say?”
Katie replied slowly, “I didn’t think much about it just now. I suddenly remembered it.”
Sally was about to explode with anger. That b*tch, Katie!
Sally looked at James pitifully. “I really didn’t cheat. I looked back because I heard Belinda calling me. The note was thrown into my desk when I wasn’t paying attention. I had no idea about it.”
James had originally favored Sally, but after the incident where Katie was falsely accused of cheating, he began to feel that there might be an issue with Sally’s character.
James spoke, “Sally, Belinda, come with me to the office.”
Katie sat in her seat, surrounded by people talking about the cheating incident.
She opened her textbook and started checking the answers to see how many points she could
score.
Not long after, the class monitor called her out, “Mr. James wants to see you in the office.”
Katie had expected this. She went to the office but didn’t see Belinda there.
Instead, she saw Eddie.
Well, Sally must have called for backup.
Sally’s eyes turned teary as she looked up at Katie. “Why do you hate me so much, Katie? What do I need to do for you to forgive me?”
Katie calmly replied, “I’m just stating what I saw. If I wanted to ruin you, I would have just said I
caw vou cheating!”

your words. Sally is also a
member of our family. You should know what to do in this situation.”
Katie looked at him. “Eddie, what do you want me to do? Pretend I saw nothing? Alright, I didn’t see Sally cheating.”
Eddie was getting frustrated. Why couldn’t she understand what I meant?
James cleared his throat. “Well, I pretty much understand what happened now. Sally, you’re also at fault. You shouldn’t have others do your homework and shouldn’t be whispering during
exams.”

Eddie explained, “Sir, Sally had someone else did her homework because she was delayed something at home. I can testify to that.”
Having her classmate to help with her homework wasn’t a big deal.
After all, Sally had a reason for doing so.
Sally felt particularly wronged, “Eddie, I don’t know why Belinda wanted to accuse me of cheating. I didn’t expect her to have such malicious intent just because I mentioned she borrowed money from me.”
“Sally, I know you’ve always been kind and liked helping less fortunate classmates, but even kindness should have its limits.”
Eddie believed that Sally was innocent and must have been falsely accused.
Mr. James responded, “We will discuss the outcome of this matter. You can head back to the classroom for now.”
Katie turned and walked out of the office.
Eddie followed her out, “Katie, how could you testify that you saw Sally turned around? What if the teacher really suspects her of cheating and punishes her? Have you even thought about the consequences?”
Katie stopped, “If Sally really cheated and shifted the blame onto Belinda, have you ever thought about the consequences for her?”
“That’s impossible. Sally would never do that.”
Eddie instinctively denied it.
Katie sneered. There was really no need for her to respond.
“Katie, I know you feel wronged and think we favor Sally. But that’s because his father saved your life before, and she has always been obedient and sensible. What’s wrong with treating her a bit

Katie was so frustrated.
She was instantly speechless.
She said sarcastically, “Fine, it’s all my fault.”
Blame her for being blinded and not seeing through this so–called family affection earlier!
Katie rushed into the classroom.
Eddie stood outside the classroom, looking helpless.
He wanted to mend his relationship with Katie, but she seemed unwilling to accept his good intentions.
How could Katie understand, that he was stricter with her because she’s his sister.
But that wasn’t the case with Sally, so he had no expectations of her.
He was not biased!

Sally approached him and said, “Eddie, I’m sorry. Maybe I should move out so Katie would stop being upset with you. I do not wish to see your relationship sour because of me.”
Eddie forced a smile, “This has nothing to do with you. You don’t need to move out. You’re my sister too–now and always.”
Sally’s tears turned into a smile, “Pinky promise!”
Eddie looked at Sally with relief, wishing Katie could be as sensible as her.
He said, “You should focus on your studies and shouldn’t have your classmates do homework anymore.”
Sally looked nervous, “I know I was wrong.”
“Admitting your mistakes and correcting them is what matters.”
Seeing Sally’s apologetic attitude, Eddie wished that Katie would be like that too.

Katie returned to the classroom and saw the empty seat next to Josephine, but she felt no sympathy.
A few days later, the school reported the cheating incident. Belinda was given a warning and disciplined.
Sally was also criticized by Mr. James in front of the class.
Mr. James took out the report cards and said, “The exam results are out. I would like to commend Katie for her significant progress–she ranked tenth this time. Everyone should learn from her. A

“Katie has improved so much. Is it still possible for me to catch up? I want to go to the same university as her.”
“How did Katie manage to do that? Excelling at both gaming and studying!”
After seeing her own grades, Katie smiled, feeling satisfied.
Does this mean she has a chance to aim for Thalindor University?
James smiled at Katie and said, “Why don’t you share some insights with the class and let everyone learn from you.”
Katie has been doing really well recently, in her exams as well.
Katie stood up, feeling a bit nervous, “The reason I could improve so much is because I had an epiphany. Life is about living for yourself, and staying up late every night to review the lessons.”
For own self and no longer sacrificing for the sake of the so–called family.
Like in her previous life, in the end, she only moved herself.
Sally was filled with jealousy as she saw Katie’s dazzling achievement.
How come this b*tch could do so well in the exam!
She saw her own grades and crumpled the test paper.
It’s all Belinda’s fault! If she hadn’t been careless and gotten caught, my grade would have definitely improved!
After the lunch break, Katie returned to the classroom and found several love letters inside her desk.
She was surprised. It took her off guard.
The class monitor approached her and said, “Katie, you’re so popular now–Gaming Goddess and the Top Student. Even the charming heartthrob from the private school next door is asking about you and wants to add you on WhatsApp.”
That charming heartthrob from the private school next door?
Isn’t he Sally’s crush?
