Maggie gritted her teeth and said, “You know Tiffany’s sick, right?”

“She’s not sick, she’s heartbroken!” Maggie said. “Neil saw Lisa at the party, and his heart just flew to her. Now he’s thinking about breaking the engagement. Your sister cried so much over this, her eyes are swollen. If we don’t marry off Lisa soon and she really gets involved with Neil, do you think your sister will survive?”

Even though Maggie had always disliked Lisa, hearing her son’s words left her stunned.
She had heard how those big shots played, and Mario was willing to throw Lisa straight into the fire without hesitation. “I’ll talk to Father about this, Mario said. Tell Tiffany not to worry.”
“Alright, Maggie replied. “You two hurry up.”
With Tiffany being sick, the whole family’s attention was focused on her, and Lisa finally had a few days of peace.
That day, everyone was home except Ivan and Xavier. Lisa usually stayed out of their way to avoid interrupting their family time, but Oscar came to deliver a message. “Ms. Lisa, Mrs. Olsen asked you to freshen up and get dressed. We have an important guest arriving soon, and we wouldn’t want to embarrass the family.”
“Me Lisa replied. “Did Mother send you?”
“Yes, she did.” Oscar said with a smile. “Go get ready”
Lisa couldn’t help but feel there was something malicious in his smile, though she had no clue what it was about.
She had been staying out of trouble lately, not even touching a strandl of Tiffany’s hair. So, what could they want from her?
Lisa quickly washed her face, grabbed the best outfit she could find, and made her way to the living room.
Bernard looked her up and down and said, “Didn’t I tell you we have an important guest? Why are you dressed like this?” “This is the best I have, Lasa said.

He glared at Lisa, as if warning her to keep quiet, or he’d have her room torn apart that night.
Lisa just pursed her lips and didn’t argue.
She knew that even if she argued, it would be useless. Bernard wouldn’t back her up, and it would only make Maggie angry. When Maggie was angry, life at the Olsen Mansion would become harder.
“You’re grown up and still acting like this,” Bernard scolded, then turned to Maggie. Take her to change. She can’t meet our guest looking like that.
“It’s too late. Mario said, rushing in. The guest has arrived.”
Bernard immediately straightened up and got to his feet to greet the guest at the door.
Lisa felt even more strange.

Lisa suddenly lifted her head, stunned, and stared at the person who had entered.
Flint wore a black shirt today, it fit him really well, showing off his broad shoulders and narrow waist. He had his suit jacket over his arm. Because it was drizzling outside, he was a bit damp, which made him look cold, solemn, sharp, and untouchable.
Even Tiffany, who was skilled at socializing, couldn’t help but hold her breath, not daring to act recklessly.
This time, Luther wasn’t with him: instead, Wesley stood by Flint’s side. When Bernard extended his hand, Flint ignored it, but Wesley reached out and shook it, smiling politely. “We’re the ones who should apologize for bothering you”
Bernard, not daring to be upset by Flint’s disregard, continued smiling. “How could this be a disturbance? Please, have a seat.”
