Chapter 8 There’s No Misunderstanding
The servants quickly scurried away after hearing Julius’s furious roar. They were afraid of getting caught in his wrath and suffering the consequences.
One of the newer stall who was unaware of the situation wanted to go see what was happening, but Greta grabbed them by the arm and snapped, “Where do you think you’re going?”
The servant looked anxious. “Mr. Julius was shouting Ms. Lisa’s name, and he had a golf club in his hand. He looked really

angry
Greta munched on some snacks as she leaned lazily against the kitchen doorway. “Check on what? You’d better be careful not to get caught in the crosslire, she said with a smirk.
“That what if Ms. Lisa gets hurt?” The servant looked genuinely worried.
Greta snorted. “You’re new here, aren’t you? You still don’t understand how things work in the Olsen household. Let me tell you something—anyone with the last name ‘Olsen‘ in this house is our boss. Except for Lisa.”
The servant was taken aback. “W–what? But she’s the biological daughter of the family!
Greta raised an eyebrow and retorted, “And what does that matter? She’s treated worse than Tiffany’s pet dog. It’s not rare for her to get beaten–what’s care is when she doesn’t.”
Finishing her stacks, Greta dusted off her hands and chuckled. “I wonder what Lisa did this time. People think Julius is all smiles and easygoing, but in reality, he’s got a nasty temper. She’s going to suffer now.”
Julius didn’t find Lisa in the living room and he headed straight for her bedroom. He then kicked her door open without. hesitation. Inside, Lisa was seated at a small, worn–out desk, writing something
“There you are, Julius growled, his presence radiating hostility as he strode inside. Before Lisa could even react, he swung the golf club at her desk
The desk, which Lisa had salvaged from the servants‘ quarters after they discarded it, was already in poor shape. The wood lud rotted over time. Under the force of Julius’s strike, it instantly splintered apart with a deafening crack, shattering into
pieces
Lisa instinctively jumped back and stumbled onto her bed.
“This is your work, isn’t it?” Julius’s bloodshot eyes burned with fury as he hurled a stack of papers at her face.
Lisa picked up one of the pages but said nothing.
Julius grabbed her by the collar and yanked her up as his voice dripped with venom. “I was wondering why you were suddenly so helpful? Turns out, you took someone’s bribe! Lisa, do you even remember that you’re one of the Olsens? How could you betray me for an outsider? Do you have any shaine?”
Lisa scoffed inwardly
Ok, so note you remembered I’m one of the Ohens?
“How much did Riley pay you?” Julius’s voice was hoarse like a beast on the verge of snapping. He would’ve torn Lisa apart long ago if he hadn’t needed answers from her.
“I don’t know anyone named Riley, Lisa choked out, “Let go of me. I can’t breathe…”
“Still playing durnb, huh? Julius smirked and let her go–only to immediately strike her with a golf club,
The searing pain made Lava go pale in an instant. Her legs gave out and she collapsed to the floor. Her whole body wast trembling from the pain.
The golf club had been a birthday gift from Tiffany, carefully chosen for its premium craftsmanship Julius usually kept it as a 1/3

collector’s item. Lisa had never imagined that something so ornamental could hurt so damn much.
“Still not talking?” Julius loomed over her with disgust and hatred. He then raised the club once again.
This time, Lisa was ready. Clenching her teeth, she rolled to the side just in time, making him miss his target. “How dare you dodge it Julius roared
“I told you–I don’t know Riley Lisa shouted. “Tiffany told me you were struggling with your new album. I wrote that song to help you-
“To help me?” Julius seized her jaw and forced her to meet his gaze. His voice dripped with contempt. “Do you take me for an idiot? A worthless piece of trash like you from the countryside–who can’t even pass a basic language test–wrote this? Don’t make me laugh.
“It was Riley, wasn’t it? He got to you and made you use this song to screw me over!” Julius’s rage was spiraling out of control. “Well, congratulations! You got what you wanted. The album release is delayed, and now the internet is tearing me apart. People are saying I’ve lost my talent, that I should just the music industry! Hah! Are you happy now!”
Lisa didn’t waver. “I told you–I don’t know Riley.”
Julius’s patience snapped. He slapped her across the face so hard that her ears rang. “Still lying? You filthy wretch!”
He grabbed a fistful of her hair and dragged her toward the door. The servants kept their heads down, pretending not to see anything. They didn’t dare to interfere at all.
Julius! Tits
Julius Tiffany hurried after him. This has to be a misunderstanding! Please, let Lisa go!”
“There’s no misunderstanding, Julius said icily.
He shoved Tiffany aside and ordered the servants, “Take her back to her room.”
The servants immediately held Tiffany hack, coaxing her away.
Julius strode toward the entrance and pushed the front door open. He glared at Lisa. “Till give you one last chance. Are yo going to talk:”

At some point, heavy rain had started pouring outside. Thunder rumbled through the sky. Lisa’s shoulders tensed, and fear flickered across her face.
She’d been terrified of thunderstorms since she was a child. Back then, her mother would always hold her close during nights. like this
Julias knew that and that was why he dragged her out here.
T… I don’t know-
Before she could finish, Julius kicked her out the door.
The Olsen Mansion was grand and imposing, with a flight of stone steps leading down from the front entrance. Lisa tumbled from the top to the bottom. By the time she hit the ground, she was soaked to the bone. Meanwhile, thunder cracked. overhead. She let out a frightened cry and curled into a ball on instinct.
“You can stay out here and reflect on your actions, Julius snarled. And pray I don’t see your face again–because if I do, I don’t know what 11 do next time,”
With that, he slammed the door shut, leaving Lisa alone in the storm.
From the second floor window, Tiffany was stroking a puppy in her arms absentmindedly. The poor creature was trembling from the thunder, but she didn’t seem to care.
“Well, at least I wasn’t dragged into this mess,” she said in relief. Though, now that things have blown up like this, Lisa probably won’t be writing songs for me anymore How annoying
Her brow furrowed slightly “But, how did the song even leak in the first place?” She peered down at Lisa, who was struggling to her feet, limping away in the rain like a miserabide stray dog

At first, Tiffany had suspected Lisa might have conspired with Riley. But seeing her now–weak, clueless, and pathetic–that didn’t seem likely
Looks like the mole was inside Julius’s studio all along.
Tiffany shut the window and her expression shifted in an instant. With a face full of worry, she headed downstairs to comfort Julius
