About 99 percent of the people in the room were mocking him. Who would dare help the Kanes? Besides, they didn’t have the strength to help!
Didn’t they see that Ryan was like a reaper?
Logan knew this too, but at this point, he was desperate.
Tap… After a brief moment, Ryan stepped onto the stage.
And in that very moment…
What no one expected was that Axel, who had been sitting at the main table, suddenly stood up.
Axel raised his head and looked at Ryan. “Young man, it’s best to show mercy when you can. How about give me some face and stop? I am Axel Solomon, head of the Fregendthe Solomons.”
Axel’s tone was calm, almost like a suggestion.
Yet his stance was that of a command.
Logan almost burst into tears from relief!
Logan was so overwhelmed with gratitude towards Axel.
In this life–or–death moment, he had never imagined that Axel would speak up.
The Kanes were saved.
They were definitely saved.
Many others in the room exchanged glances, their eyes flickering with mixed emotions. Some looked at Ryan with regret–he was so close, just one step away, but he never expected Axel to intervene.
As soon as Axel spoke, everything was settled.
Although the Solomons rarely took action, their status as one of the two powerful old noble families was deeply ingrained in everyone’s minds.
Thomas, seated at the same table, frowned, but didn’t say a word.
Even Joel, who had been on the verge of collapsing in fear, found the strength to stand. Clenching his fists in excitement, he felt the urge to shout to the heavens, there was still hope!
He glared at Ryan, silently swearing that if he survived today, he would make Ryan pay and tear him apart in the future no matter the cost.

“Indeed,” Axel nodded, his smile warm yet authoritative. His commanding presence reflected the true power of the head of the Solomons family.
Axel had his reasons for stepping in.
First, the Kanes‘ fate was on the line. Saving them meant taking them over. Despite being new money, the Kanes were still a prize worth claiming.
Earlier, Logan had voluntarily offered up several old houses, showing just how thoughtful he was.
But most importantly, to Axel, saving the Kanes was just a matter of words from him, an easy decision–why not do it?
“Old man, who the hell do you think you are? Why should I give you some face?” Ryan locked jeyes with Axel, his voice icy. “If I killed your father, your mother, or your son, would you show them mercy?”
The moment those words left his mouth, the room fell deathly silent.
Some in the room might have expected Ryan to fiercely refuse Axel’s offer, knowing the deep. irreconcilable hatred he held. After all, the grudge of wiping out a family was not something easily overlooked.
But no one had anticipated that Ryan would not only reject the offer, but openly curse and humiliate Axel!
This was Axel Solomon!
Not just some random nobody!
Had Ryan lost his mind?
Logan and Joel could barely contain their excitement, almost bursting into laughter. With those words, not only was the Kanes‘ survival guaranteed, but now Axel himself might be compelled to help kill Ryan!
To curse and humiliate Axel–how dare he? How dare he?!
Even Axel himself was completely caught off guard.
In all his nearly 80 years of life, this was the first time someone had dared to speak to him like
that.
Forget about today’s Ryan–three years ago, when Ryan was still the spoiled heir of Fregend, even then, speaking to Axel like this would have cost him dearly.
“This is bad….” In the corner of the hall, Cindy’s face tightened with worry. She never expected Axel to step forward, and it unsettled her. Axel was using his power to intimidate, which she didn’t like but what shocked her even more was how hold Rvan was

Super bold.
Bold to the point of madness.
To openly insult and curse Axel, this was, quite literally, a death wish!

Cindy wasn’t sure just how powerful the Solomons were, but her grandfather had once said that the Solomons were on par with the Rileys, and the Rileys had martial artists–more than one. The Solomons definitely had their own.
“Great! Great! Great! Young man, you don’t know your place! Do you think that just because you have learned some martial arts and have a little bit of strength, and can beat and kill some ordinary people, you are invincible? You are talking nonsense!” Axel laughed in anger, emphasizing each word, “Jon, teach him a lesson.”
“Yes,” Jon, who had kept his head lowered and gone unnoticed by everyone, finally raised it.
The moment he did, the entire hall seemed to feel a sudden change–an overwhelming, dangerous presence, as if a wild beast had just roared.
“It’s … it’s a martial artist!” Logan was almost on the verge of fainting with excitement. There had always been rumors that the Solomons and the Rileys had martial legacies, but those were just rumors–until now.
A martial artist.
The legendary martial artist had just appeared before their eyes, alive!
Logan’s excitement surged, his head buzzing as if blood were rushing straight to his brain. Hist eyes were about to pop out as he stared at Jon.
“Young man, let me show you what true martial arts really are!” Jon took a step forward, moving with an almost ethereal grace. There was something uncanny about it, despite standing several feet
away from the stage, with a single step he landed on it, as if it were the most effortless thing in the world.
