Not only that, but when he landed on the stage, the solid floor visibly shook for a moment.
Those with sharper eyes even saw two faint footprints appear beneath Jon’s feet.
It was a pure wooden stage floor!
To leave footprints with just a step?!
In the hall, many people were losing their minds. Scenes that only existed in legends and movies were now happening right before their eyes.
Especially for the younger crowd–those who were deeply interested in martial arts–they were nearly
Esperome with awe.
“Ryan, are you desperate? After three years of plotting, in the end, it’s you who’s going to die! Hahaha… “Joel shouted, as if venting all his emotions, waving his fists in the air. He had never felt this exhilarated in his life.
A dramatic turnaround at the brink of death, only those who’ve experienced it know how intensely satisfying it can be!
Yet Ryan remained calm, a smile still on his face.
If there was any change, it was the subtle trace of contempt in his gaze.
Trash in mid–Energy Cultivation Realm, trying to flaunt his so–called martial arts in front of someone like him, a late–Grandmaster
Did he think he was worthy?
“Young man, make your move,” Jon said coolly, his voice devoid of any mockery, his posture radiating an air of undeniable superiority. “If you don’t, you won’t have another opportunity.”
“Fine!” Ryan smiled.
Then, in an instant, he struck.
There was no hesitation, no formality.
No special moves, just a straightforward approach–he closed the distance and threw a punch.
At first glance, it seemed nothing special.
But the moment Ryan moved, it was as if Jon’s entire body froze, his blood turning to ice.
From heaven, straight down to hell.

chance to evade it.
And then, he sensed the presence of inner energy.
If Jon didn’t react now, he would be a fool.
It became clear: Ryan wasn’t just a martial artist, he was far stronger than Jon.

Earlier, the reason Ryan hadn’t released his inner energy was simply because he didn’t need to, he didn’t bother against the Kanes‘ bodyguards.
That was all.
Jon regretted it to the point of heartbreak.
But it was too late for regrets
Ryan’s fist was already right in front of him. Now, begging for mercy was impossible. Not only was pleading out of the question, but even dodging was no longer an option.
Ryan’s seemingly simple punch was far from simple. It had sealed off every possible escape route, leaving Jon with no way out.
Now, his only options were to wait for death or to face it head–on, gritting his teeth.
“Ha, Stormwave Fist!” At that life–or–death moment, Jon circulated his inner energy, skillfully directing it through his body’s pressure points. The energy surged through his meridians, building strength that flowed through his arm, gathering in his palm.
His palms came together, transforming into fists.
The knuckles of his fist gleamed faintly, and the calluses on his palms gave it a heavy, explosive aura. This was the essence of the Stormwave Fist–relentless, explosive, and powerful.
The Stormwave Fist was the only martial arts technique the Solomons had to offer. Though it was a basic, low–tier technique at the human level, and only the first form, it was still incredibly rare and valuable.
Jon had been by Axel’s side for over 30 years, his loyalty and numerous achievements earning him the right to practice it. The other three martial artists of the Solomons hadn’t even tried it.
“You also know martial arts techniques?” Ryan observed, slightly surprised, but ultimately indifferent.
He had his own techniques, ones that were stronger than Jon’s half–baked fist technique.
But this time, Ryan didn’t need any martial arts. One punch was all that was necessary.

Below the stage, Axel frowned, puzzled by Jon’s sudden use of the Stormwave Fist.
Thomas’s eyes brightened.

The other guests were buzzing with excitement, especially when they saw a brief flash of light on Jon’s fist, resembling something out of a martial arts or fantasy world. Their enthusiasm grew so strong that some were tempted to pull out their phones to capture it.
In the blink of an eye…
Bang!
The two fists collided!
The sound wasn’t loud, but rather dull.
Of course, that didn’t matter. What mattered was…
The moment their fists met, the entire hall fell into an eerie silence, as if time had frozen. Many people’s expressions were locked in place at that instant.
Especially Axel, Logan, Joel, and the others.
What… what did they just witness?
Jon staggered back 17 steps? With each step, he coughed up blood? As he retreated, his fist first exploded, flesh and blood spraying out.
Then, the white, shattered bones of his fist protruded, breaking apart.
And finally, his entire arm began to rip apart, skin tearing, tendons snapping, bones shattering.
