Ryan grabbed Logan by the collar with one hand and lifted him as if he were a helpless chick.
“No! Don’t!” Logan let out a scream of pure terror, his voice twisted beyond recognition.
Under everyone’s horrified gaze, Ryan raised his hand and flung Logan with immense force.
Logan shot through the air like a bullet, the speed breathtaking.
The strength behind Ryan’s throw was monstrous.
In the blink of an eye….
Bang!
Logan slammed into the southeast corner wall of the hall.
The sound wasn’t particularly loud, but the impact was devastating.
Logan’s limbs were shattered, and it looked as if every bone in his body had snapped. Blood oozed everywhere, leaving a horrifying scene.
He was dead on the spot..
The hall fell into an eerie silence. Everyone stood frozen, dumbstruck by what they had just witnessed.
This wasn’t something a normal human could do. That kind of power was more like that of a
monster.
Without hesitation, Ryan turned his attention to several other key members of the Kanes, killing them in the same brutal manner.
Joel was so terrified he wet himself.
“It seems it’s your turn now,” Ryan said, raising an eyebrow and locking his gaze on Joel, who was trembling with fear.
Joel was too overwhelmed to even plead for his life. His body convulsed uncontrollably, consumed by terror.
“Killing Joel right now would prove nothing! Why don’t you wait?” Out of nowhere, a shout came from the crowd. Mark, of all people, stood up and yelled defiantly, his voice full of anger.
The boldness of the young Eaton heir surprised Ryan.
Mark, being a direct descendant of the Eatons, was usually nothing more than a spoiled playboy.

“You told me to call for reinforcements, didn’t you? Well, I did! They’re on their way! What’s the point of killing Joel now?” Mark roared, gritting his teeth, fully prepared to risk everything.
For Mark, saving face was of utmost importance.
If Joel died, even if reinforcements arrived to kill Ryan, it wouldn’t matter–Mark would still be seen as a failure who couldn’t protect his ally.
So, he decided to gamble, testing just how arrogant and self–assured Ryan truly was.
“Fine!” Ryan replied, his tone dripping with amusement. Without hesitation, he nodded in
agreement.
His willingness to go along with Mark’s challenge shocked everyone.
Three years ago, Joel had tormented Ryan endlessly, and failing to end things decisively had sown the seeds for Ryan’s eventual return to power.
Now, Ryan’s decision to delay killing Joel seemed like he was offering him another chance. Cindy, standing in the crowd, couldn’t help but wonder if Ryan wasn’t afraid of history repeating itself.
She wanted to say something, but the words caught in her throat. “What does it matter to me?” Cindy muttered under her breath.
Her thoughts drifted to the bet she had with Ryan–the one where she would have to sleep with him. Her face flushed, and any desire to warn him disappeared.
If Ryan could hear Cindy and the others‘ thoughts, he would’ve mocked them for their naïveté.
Joel was already a dead man. Unlike three years ago, this time Ryan had left nothing to chance.
Even if Joel were rescued now, it would be pointless.
The moment Ryan stepped onto the stage, he discreetly used a silver needle to sever Joel’s vital meridian. This was his insurance policy–ensuring that even if Joel managed to escape now, he wouldn’t survive.
Once the vital meridian was severed, death was inevitable. Within 49 hours, visible signs of death would manifest, and no one could save him.
Even if Mark brought reinforcements, Ryan was confident they would be useless.
Ryan’s mentor had once said, “Ryan, at your current late–Grandmaster Realm, your combat prowess exceeds even your level. You are unbeatable in Celestia’s mundane world. You’re ready to descend the mountain.”
On top of that, Ryan possessed several powerful techniques and resources gifted by his mentor, including a communication talisman capable of summoning him instantly.

Knowing the outcome was already sealed, Ryan decided to toy with Joel. He wanted to give him hope, only to drag him into the deepest despair. Ryan found this far more entertaining. To him, nothing was worse than plunging someone into utter hopelessness.
Seeing Ryan agree, Joel’s convulsions stopped. He clutched his head, trying to mask the sudden flicker of hope that lit up in his eyes.
“Ryan! You’ll regret not killing me now! If I survive this, I’ll spend the rest of my life hunting you down!” Joel screamed in his mind, his thoughts consumed by rage and desperation.
