Chapter 35 He Saved Her
After all, Celia had another identity–his son’s biological mother. Although he despised seeing her, she had to stay alive.
Meanwhile, she watched as the car spo
toward the harbor, terrified and devastated. No one was coming to save her, nor would anyone notice she had been kidnapped. Therefore, nobody would know if she had disappeared from the face of the earth.
But no, she could not die! She still had to regain her mother’s share of the equity, and the truth of her death was yet to be discovered. No matter what, she had to hold on!
With that in mind, she continued to struggle but then heard the man beside her threaten, “Don’t move, or I’ll kill you immediately.”
Celia felt tears in her eyes. Are they going to kill me? Does Pansy want me dead?
The sedan drove onto a more secluded road on the seaside, where barely any sign of life was present. Just then, the driver muttered, “Who’s the one following us in the sports car?”
“Lose it.”
Once that order was made, the sedan sped forward. However, they had forgotten that the sports car following them was the King of Speed. The moment the other noticed the sedan picking up speed, he charged forward and arrived behind the sedan in a matter of seconds.
“Damn it! Who the f*ck is that? Trying to obstruct our task, ch?” The man in the passenger seat grew frustrated.
“We’re almost at the ship. Once we get on board, we can deal with whoever that is.”
Celia felt her heart skip a beat. There’s a car following us? Why is it? Is it Bryce?
The sedan finally stopped at a spot where only one yacht was floating on the water, lying in wait. Then, she was brought down the car by several masked men. The sea breeze messed up her hair, and she turned to look at the sports car. It had also stopped, and the car door opened, followed by a tall figure emerging.
Celia’s eyes widened when she saw who it was. How can it be him? The one following us was Hugo? Why is he here? Did he come to save me? P–Wait a minute. Why would Hugo be willing to risk his noble life to save met
There were four kidnappers here and two more on the yacht. Also, he did not care about her safety, just like what happened four years ago. Back then, he had become a killer himself, murdering her son and almost taking her life.
With his ruthless nature, could he have followed the sedan here so that he could watch how she died? Did he not want her dead? Why would he come to save her? That was ridiculous! He was probably here to watch her die, right? If she had the chance, she would rather drown herself in the sea than get violated by a group of men.

“Who are you?” questioned one of the kidnappers, who saw only one man coming out of the sports car.
“Ve to
“The woman you kidnapped. She’s mine, so be sensible and release her. Or else, you’ll deal with the consequences.” Hugo’s eyes narrowed, but a trace of worry appeared when he saw the frail woman manhandled by two men.
“How arrogant.” The leading kidnapper sneered and eyed his subordinates. “Bring her onboard.”
With that, Celia was pulled into a trail among the reeds and forced to get on a simple wooden float headed for the yacht, leaving only two men with long knives stopping Hugo.
When Hugo saw her pulled into the reeds, his eyes turned cold as he exuded a fierce aura. He then unbuttoned his coat and quickly threw it on the grass beside him, approaching the men while rolling up his sleeves.
“I’d advise you not to seek death,” one of the kidnappers warned. They were wearing masks, so they were unafraid of exposing their identities.
“You are the ones seeking death.” Hugo scoffed coldly.
Meanwhile, Celia was pulled onto the boat and thrown on the deck. Looking toward the secluded road, she wondered if Hugo had left. What was she expecting? Was she hoping that man would come to save her?
At that moment, she heard a pained howl coming from that road, indicating that someone was bashed.
The leader of the kidnappers was stunned for a moment before ordering his men, “Don’t wait for them. Sail our.”
Hearing that, she closed her eyes, devastated. All she could do now was to wait for death.
“Boss, look. That man is coming.” One of the kidnappers pointed in a direction.
It was then they saw a figure emerging from the reeds. Even if the wooden raft had been removed, he still managed to use his bare strength to jump onto the yacht. After a roll of his body, he ended up half–kneeling on the deck.
That figure was none other than Hugo.
Celia watched in disbelief as he hopped on board. She also noticed red stains on the sleeves of his white shirt and knew it was not his but the kidnappers‘ blood.
“Men, kill him, the leader instructed. This task was worth a million and five hundred thousand, so they could not let anyone stop them.
Hugo rose to his feet. His eyes filled with deep anger as he glanced at Celia before shooting a cold glare at the three kidnappers before him..

At the mention of money, a tall, rugged man immediately picked up a steel bar from the side and swung it at Hugo’s face. The steel bar was charged at such proximity that it seemed impossible to avoid.
Celia’s beautiful eyes were wide open, overflowing with worry.
However, he did not dodge the attack but used his hand to block it. The next moment, he gave the rugged man a hard kick, forcing him backward and causing him to almost fall over the railings. There was only so much room inside the yacht, so they could not fight freely.
Sweeping his gaze across the other kidnappers, Hugo taunted, “Who’s first?”
Another man came forward and threw a punch at Hugo, who caught the man’s arm and kicked his waist. The man immediately howled in pain and fell to the ground, rolling around.
The kidnappers‘ leader was shocked by the scene and felt like all of their strength combined. might not be the young man’s opponent.
Meanwhile, Celia was similarly flabbergasted. It was the first time she saw Hugo in action, and she did not expect him to be so skilled.
The other two kidnappers, who had not made a move, felt their legs turn to jelly as they looked at their leader. “Boss, what do we do now?”
When Celia saw the leader turning to look at her, she was so frightened that she shivered. While the bound woman was still immersed in her fear, the leader approached her before she could react and pulled her to the side of the railing, ready to push her overboard.
Her lips and limbs were still taped when she fell straight into the sea without a chance to call for help. She could only watch as she sank deeper into the ocean.
Right after she fell into the water, Hugo jumped over the yacht and dove into the sea.
“Quick. Let’s sail away,” the leader ordered. The instructions given were to kill Celia if she refused to give them the equity agreement. Since Celia had been thrown into the sea and the man had gone after her, their ending would be to drown together.
