Chapter 36 Saving Her Regardless of His Life
The yacht soon sped away at top speed.
In the meantime, the bound Celia was sinking toward the bottom of the ocean. Her eyes were wide open as she scrutinized her surroundings. The light refracted into slithers of glow in the clear sea, painting her in a bizarre world.
Then, she saw a figure diving into the water, and her oxygen–deprived mind thought, Is it him? Is it Hugo?
Ten feet deep into the ocean, Hugo quickly swam toward Celia and grabbed her by the waist. Then, he used his teeth to tear the tape around her hands. Later, she tried to struggle and broke free. Once done, he swam down to her ankles and did the same. However, she was seriously deprived of oxygen.
At that instance, the man held her shoulders. Their faces almost touched each other’s as he removed the tape around her lips. He cupped the back of her head without hesitation and placed his thin lips against her cold ones, transferring his air to her mouth–to–mouth.
The suffocating Celia seemed to have found a slither of hope. Her eyes were tightly closed as her survival instincts instantly kicked in. She held onto the man’s neck, trying to get more air from
him.
While allowing her to take away they floated above the water.

“Phew…” She breathed in the fresh air, weakly leaning against the man’s chest. When she opened her moist eyes, she looked into a deep gaze. The man’s long eyelashes had water beads hanging off them, making his eyes look indecipherable.
“You…” She noticed she was in his arms and angrily pushed him away.
Right after she did, she sank back into the water and yelped. Her survival instincts made her hold onto Hugo’s waist like she was holding on for dear life. Then, she began heaving while leaning against his chest.
“Why aren’t you letting go of me?” The man’s raspy voice sounded provocative.
Celia was so angry that she gnashed her teeth, giving him a death stare. At that moment, they were floating on the water about several feet away from shore. Still, she could not swim, so her instincts made her endure his mockery while ordering him, “Bring me to shore.”
However, the man pulled her toward him by her waist and whispered, “Beg me.”
She could feel his firm chest against her body and the reaction at the nether region, causing her initially pale face to redden slightly. However, it was not from embarrassment but anger. This douche. How can he think of that while we’re in the water….

Hugo’s eyes turned cold as he narrowed them and dove back into the water, wanting to bring her back up again.
Celia choked quite a few times and coughed out of discomfort. This time, she was more obedient and did not push him while he held her in his arms.
Knowing she would never beg him, he could only hold her while swimming toward the reeds.
When she finally felt the ground below her feet, she was so tired that she heaved and dropped to the floor, wet from head to toe. The high–quality thin white shirt Hugo wore stuck to his body after getting wet, so when he walked past her, she could see his well–defined muscles through his clothes; his drenched dress pants also revealed his extraordinarily long legs.
Then, he removed his shirt, revealing his Apollo–like robust that seemed to be shining in bronze under the sun. However, the woman lying on the ground was not even interested in enjoying the
view.
Since Hugo had always been a neat freak, he could not stand having sand on his body and the sticky feeling left behind by saltwater. He glanced at Celia, still on the ground, and demanded, “Get up and let’s go.”
She closed her eyes, feeling extremely complicated. She could not deny that the douche had saved her again.
After using his hand to comb his hair to the back of his head, revealing his defined eyebrows and nose bridge, he asked, “What is it? Do you want me to pick you up and bring you there?”
Celia opened her eyes and listlessly glared at him. You may leave first.”
“Are you sure?” Hugo’s lips curled into a sneer.
She did not feel like entertaining him, so she closed her eyes and lay there to restore her strength. As he breathed out, a few drops of water skated down his perfect jawline and flowed along the sharp lines at his collarbones. It was like a pen, sketching a piece of art created by the Heavens.
He looked at the woman lying on the beach with her black hair covering her face. Her skin was glowing under the afternoon sun, and her red lips made him want to…..
Then, he frustratedly bit his lips because his body’s reaction suggested he was having thoughts about that woman. Even experiencing a life–and–death situation could not stop him from desiring her.
Truth be told, seeing her lying weakly on the beach did make him want to take advantage of her weakened state and do her.
While he approached her, Celia opened her eyes and looked at him warily. “What are you doing?”

She bent her short frame and entered the car while he returned to the driver’s seat and sped away. Meanwhile, the kidnappers‘ car had disappeared as well. It was like that kidnapping had never happened.
While closing her eyes, Celia felt her chest heaving, thanks to her near–death experience in the ocean. Yet, this man disregarded everything and jumped in to save her. It was frustrating when the one who saved her from danger time again was the man she hated.
“Do you know who kidnapped you?” Hugo asked. If he had not come after her, she would have disappeared without anyone’s knowledge.
“That doesn’t concern you,” Celia replied listlessly.
“Whom did you offend?” he asked, squinting.
“I said it doesn’t concern you.” She turned her head to glare at him.
Seeing her behavior, he became furious. He could not stop someone who insisted on seeking death. That’s right. I was just being nosy. I shouldn’t have chased after them, and I shouldn’t have disregarded my safety to save her when she fell into the sea. Is this how she repays someone who just saved her life?
His car drove onto the main road, where more vehicles gradually emerged. Celia did not want to stay in his car and demanded, “Let me out.
When Hugo glanced at her, he saw her white shirt sticking to her figure, faintly exposing her black underwear, a flat abdomen, and a well–toned figure. All of that, along with her wet black hair, she was a sight no man could reject.
Therefore, he ignored her and accelerated toward the city center.
