The day she boarded the plane, she had already married Tom.

He jerked his arm out of Hailey’s embrace, and Hailey was immediately frightened, her face turning pale.
“Tom, I know you’re anxious, but Jane is an adult. She’ll be fine.”
It was better not to mention Jane, but once her name was brought up, Tom’s entire demeanor turned icy.
At that moment, he received a phone call.
Tom answered, and from the other end of the line, someone said something that made Tom explode with anger. ”
