Chapter 12
Tom had no idea how he spent the eight hours on the flight
When he heard the news from Eric, his first reaction was confusion.
‘She went abroad? And to Miran?‘
But he immediately instructed people to check the airport lists, and no boarding record for Jane was found.
Yet, more than confusion, he felt a sense of relief. At least Jane was still alive. That was enough.
But immediately after, a surge of intense anger enveloped him. Why did she leave without saying a word?
Even if she wanted to go abroad for career development, why had she never mentioned it to him?
Jane found a new place to live, moving out from Mr. Westwood’s house.
After all, she had been staying there as a guest. Although Mr. and Mrs. Westwood were both very fond of her, Jane didn’t want to impose on them for too long.
When Sean found out, he volunteered to help.

Jane came with nothing but herself, no luggage. After moving into her new place, she decided to go to the shopping center to buy a few things to decorate her house.
While browsing a fabric store, her period arrived early.
Jane felt the heat, but since the store was crowded, she didn’t want to make it too obvious. That would only make things more awkward.
“This is for you.”
A men’s jacket was handed to her.
Sean smiled and said, “I’m a bit hot. Could you help me hold my jacket?”
Jane realized what had happened. Sean must have noticed.
But instead of drawing attention to it, he had thoughtfully come up with a way to cover it up.
Jane’s face turned red as she nodded. “Thank you, Sean.”
Sean smiled. “Did you find anything you like?”
Jane shook her head.
“Then should we try the next store?”
“Okay.”
After leaving the fabric store, Sean said, “Wait here for me.
Then he quickly ran to a convenience store in the distance.
Soon, he returned, holding a small bag in his hand, which he placed into Jane’s palm.
His face was slightly red. “I wasn’t sure which brand you prefer, and I’m not very familiar with these things, so I just bought the one the shop assistant recommended.”
Jane squeezed the small bag in her hand, feeling a warm current run through her heart.
