I sat in the chair and adjusted my collar again.
This was probably my last chance.
Thanks to a good friend from college, I had the opportunity to interview at this company.
The upside was that the company was big, and even though it was a branch, it was beyond my father’s influence.
The downside was that this company was notoriously hard to get into.
I had already passed the first and second rounds, and it was clear that the interviewers had a positive impression of me.
When they called my name, I stood up, straightened my clothes, and kept the most composed smile I could
muster.
I pushed the door open.
The next second, I froze.
There were five interviewers sitting in the room. Aside from the ones who had already interviewed me, there were two older individuals.
In the far corner, there was someone with his arms crossed, looking impatient.
When he saw me, he raised an eyebrow, clearly annoyed.
Ben.
