George watched the scene before him. He smiled with deep sense of satisfaction.
He was determined to support Archie’s
ision based solely on her culinary skills.

Summer beamed with pride as she watched Archie devour the meal she had prepared, leaving not a crumb behind. As a chef, there was a special kind of pride in witnessing someone truly enjoy your food.
Archie felt a little embarrassed. At his age, it was a bit childish to eat so heartily, as if he couldn’t get enough.
What remarkable cooking skills!
That stubborn grandson of his, with such a skilled and kind wife by his side, would never suffer from stomach problems again.
News of Archie polishing off his lunch quickly reached Theodore’s cars.
“Hmph. Theodore scoffed coldly. “Grandpa is really going to great lengths to get me to accept that woman. I’ve never even heard of Yelena being able to cook! To pretend such a terrible meal was delicious was ridiculous. Does he really think I’d fall for it?”
“Mr. Jackman, should we still return to the estate for dinner tonight?” Travis asked cautiously.
Theodore furrowed his brow before forcing himself to relax. He said, “I promised Grandpa I’d stay at home until the marriage registration is complete. So, of course, I’m going back.”
“Alright, Mr. Jackman.”
Theodore glanced at Yelena’s photo on his desk and sneered.
Let’s see how long she can keep up this act.
Meanwhile, after helping Archie settle in for a rest, Summer was led by George to the guest quarters for some downtime.
“Ms. Jenson,” George said kindly, “The estate has mostly catered to Mr. Archie, so we may not have many feminine touches prepared ahead of time. If you need anything at all, let us know. We’ll make sure you have everything you need.”
Summer was already blinded by the luxury and splendor around her. When George was being so courteous, she hurriedly responded, “Everything’s perfect. I’m very satisfied. Thank you for your thoughtfulness.”
Tm glad to hear that. Please rest well, George said before leaving gracefully.
Once the door closed, Summer sank to the floor, unable to contain her awe. Stroking the corner of a trash bin shaped like a mythical creature, she gasped, “Is this an antique? Oh my gosh, how much must this cost? And this vase–doesn’t this look just like the Faience I saw at the museum? The texture–it doesn’t feel like a replica at all! Oh my god, look at the intricate carvings on this bed! No machine could replicate this. eraftsmanship. Oh wow, this is–what is this?”

She had accidentally pushed open a door leading into a massive walk–in closet. It was filled to the brim with seasonal clothes, shoes, bags, and expensive accessories.
Even a random nightgown she picked up was a design from a luxury brand that was worth live figures.
Her mouth dropped open in shock, staying that way for several moments.
Then, she held her breath, cautiously backing out, and closed the closet door.
Finally, she allowed herself to breathe.
“No wonder the Jensons would rather push me

She lay down in the room drenched in wealth, falling into a deep and peaceful sleep.

“Yes, yes, please!‘ Summer quickly responded. She realized her overeager tone and added more calmly. “I was just feeling a bit thirsty.”
“Very well.”
Summer composed herself. She adjusted her expression to exude the calm and composed demeanor of someone unperturbed by wealth. After that, she opened the door.
George doesn’t seem to have noticed her earlier enthusiasm. He smiled gently and signaled for the servants to bring in the tea. “Ms. Jenson, the gardens are lovely this time of day. Feel free to walk around. Every area is open for you to explore, except for Mr. Theodore’s villa.”
“Of course, thank you!” Summer squinted her eyes and responded cheerfully.
After leaving Summer’s room, George made his way to Archie’s study.
“Well, what do you think?” Archie asked.
“She’s lively and cheerful–just the kind of person to complement with Mr. Theodore, George said with a
smile.
Archie chuckled and said, “I knew it. Yelena is perfect for Theodore.”
As they were talking, Summer’s cheerful voice floated in from outside. “Archie, the sun is shining so brightly. Come outside and walk a bit–it’s good for your health! If you digest the lunch, you’ll have more
room for dinner.
Yelena strolled in and said with a smile.
“All right, all right, Archie said, growing fonder of her by the second.
