“Let’s be real, Davina is loveable. Even Mr. Sawyer acts differently around her. I’ve never seen him on screen with a woman before.”
When Stella saw Kennedy walk in, she nearly lost it.
She was always drawn to him, bright, rich, powerful, and effortlessly handsome. She’d even been planning to ditch Ryan for a shot at Kennedy.
But no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t get his number or even orchestrate a single ‘casual‘ run–in.
After that day at the shooting range, her feelings had only intensified,
Kennedy wasn’t just desirable, he was the key to her life. She believes a man like him, admired by everyone, husband.
should be her
Even without the Summers, she’d still be the high–status princess, living the life of a socialite, wealth and luxury forever within her grasp.
And let’s not forget that Kennedy is ridiculously handsome.
So when he walked in and started talking and laughing with Davina, it was like a slap in the face. Stella’s jaw clenched so hard it was a miracle her molars didn’t crack.
Sensing the buzz, the host smiled and said, “It looks like Mr. Sawyer and Davina are pretty close. Do you two know each other already?”
Davina coldly replied, “Not really.”
Kennedy said. “We’ve met before.”
They answered at the exact same time.
Kennedy glanced at her, and then, a subtle smirk in his eyes sent the comments section spiraling.
The host blinked, caught off guard for a second, but recovered with a quick laugh. “Well, sounds like the two of you are pretty in sync either way!”
Jude’s assistant visibly flinched offstage as he watched his boss silently twisting a pen in his hands.

The tension was so thick that he instinctively leaned back like he might be caught in the crossfire.
“A man who avoids the spotlight for years suddenly shows up on a show like this, Jude said, voice low and cold. “Take a guess why.”
The assistant wisely kept his mouth shut
Jude’s eyes narrowed. “He’s got an agenda.”
Kennedy might not be part of Jude’s inner c

He didn’t do things without a reason.
If he’s being overly friendly, there’s usually an ulterior motive
This show had nothing to do with the Sawyers, Kennedy wasn’t a fan of getting tangled up in entertainment industry tumors.
So logically, he wouldn’t be here unless there was a reason.
The
motive, then, was apparent.

Just then, his assistant’s phone buzzed.
He answered quickly, nodded, leaned down, and murmured, “It’s Mr. Gray. He wants to see you.
Jude raised an eyebrow. “Fabian?” He paused, then nodded once. “Alright. Set it up.”
“Yes, sir.”

Once the call ended, Jude’s eyes flicked back to the live stream, just in time for the program to finally move past the buzz of Kennedy and Davina’s surprise connection.
The host pivoted with an energetic grin, turning to Stella.
“And now, our childhood sweetheart turned rising star, Stella! So tell us, what made you want to join our esports show?”
Stella giggled. “When I was little, I used to want to game with my brother, but he always said I was too dumb. So this time, I’m here to prove I’m not!”
Ashen chuckled beside her, a fond look in his eyes.
The host played along. “So, how’s your gaming skill these days?”
Stella gave an exaggerated pout and glanced toward Ashen, all wide–eyed and innocent. “I guess I’ll have to count on Ashen to carry me.”
The comment section exploded.
“Okay, sibling goals! Stella’s too cute!”
“She might actually be clueless at gaming, though.”
“Not funny. If you don’t know how to play, don’t waste everyone’s time.”
“And what, you think Davina knows how to play? She probably doesn’t even know how to hold the controller.”
Davina, watching the screen from her spot, frowned.
“She’s useless. Total dead weight, Davina muttered under her breath. Straight up carry–the–noob energy.”
