The livestream chat was buzzing with comments about sibling love. Stella’s fans were overjoyed.
Once the teams were set, Stella suddenly suggested, “How about we let the guests join the teams as well? That would make it more exciting”
The host chuckled. “Well, technically, our rules don’t allow guests to participate.”
Stella looked at Davina, then turned to Kennedy. “Sometimes breaking the rules makes it more fun. Don’t you think so, Ken?
She gave him a sweet smile, but that nickname made Kennedy frown.
The host glanced at the director for instructions.
The director looked toward the guests.
“The viewers want the guests to play,” the assistant director added.
Kennedy replied coolly, “Ms. Stella, we’re not close. Please don’t call me that. It gives people the wrong idea.”
Stella smiled again. “I think of you as a friend, so it’s natural to call you that.”
He frowned again.
Davina held back a laugh.
Kennedy was always too polite.
If it were jude, he would’ve shut her down right away.
Then, Stella turned to Ashen and pouted. “Can Kennedy join our team?”
One teammate hesitated. But we already have enough members.
Just let someone sit out this round,” she replied casually.
Her words left Ashen and the others feeling uncomfortable.
Ashen frowned as well. “I don’t think this is a good idea.”
But Stella didn’t back down. “It’s just a game. Why make a big deal out of it?”
The rest of the team couldn’t hide their dissatisfaction.
They had gotten this far by working together, so it felt unfair that Ashen’s sister suddenly got to decide who wouldn’t get to play.
Then, Stella turned toward Davina on purpose. “Since you’re a guest, you’ll join in, right?”
After discussing briefly with the director, the host asked the guests, “So, what are your thoughts?”
The guest director chuckled and waved dismissively. “I’m too old for this. I’ll let the younger folks enjoy it.”
Davina smiled. “Sure, I’ll join.”
Kennedy simply said, “Whatever.”
The host hit up “Great! Davina and Mr. Sawyer will be added as sixth players to each team! But to keep it fair, the captains get the final say on whether the guests play!”
Ashen, clearly on Stella’s side, parked Kennedy right away
Stella tried to charm Kennedy as well
