“Your name’s Davina, right?” the director looked satisfied, even offering a rare smile as he spoke to her.
Davina returned the smile and replied politely, “Yes”
He nodded in approval. “Not bad at all. Are you a real doctor? Because that didn’t look like acting”
It was clearly a joke. Davina was young and stunning, with the fresh face of a university student–how could slae possibly be a seasoned doctor?
Still, her presence, her confidence, and the authority she carried–it was hard to believe it was just a performance,
The director was convinced–Davina wasn’t just acting. She was the role.
Davina didn’t confirm or deny,

Stella shot Davina a look full of resentment, then turned to the director and complained, “Director, it was supposed to be my turn. She stole my spot on purpose. Isn’t someone who breaks the rules and tries to steal the spotlight supposed to be punished?”
Davina arched an eyebrow. “Wasn’t it you who cut in line? It was my turn. So if we’re talking about stealing the spotlight and breaking the rules… wouldn’t that make you the problem?”
Stella was instantly silenced. Her expression changed dramatically.
Because what Davina said was true.
- I didn’t,” Stella argued stubbornly.
The director waved a hand, clearly losing patience. “Enough. Don’t waste my time. Next,”
Reluctantly, Stella muttered a soft grunt and gave Davina one last glare before hurrying off to prepare.
Davina calmly walked to the side, took off her white coat, and tossed it into a nearby laundry basket.
But just then, a sharp pain shot through her wrist.
Ryan grabbed her hard. His grip was tight, his voice low and cold. “You have the nerve to steal Stella’s turn? A lowly slut? Who do you think you are, trying to draw attention to yourself like that?”
At that exact moment, someone else happened to be walking by.
“This way, Mr. Jude The director’s holding auditions today, so it’s a little loud, someone explained politely.
But as they rounded the corner, the scene came into full view.
The crew members froze in embarrassment; he muttered, “Isn’t that the heir of the Holt?”

Jude’s eyes narrowed as he looked at Davina, his expression unreadable. He lifted a hand slightly.
The people around him immediately fell silent.
He leaned casually against the wall, the corner of his mouth lifting in amusement, as if settling in to watch a show.
Davina frowned, staring at the red mark on her wrist. Without a second thought, she grabbed the metal water jug next to her. and slammed it into Ryan’s face.
Whack! Ryan yelped and stumbled back, clutching his cheek.

The jug hit the floor with a loud clang, and a red mark spread across Ryan’s face. Blood was already trickling from his temple.
Most of the cast and crew were focused on Stella’s audition, so only a few people caught what had just happened.
But those who did were frozen in shock.
All too shaken to speak.

At first, Ryan thought Davina was just acting out because of some lingering feelings for him. He even felt a shred of guilt.
But now? She had clearly crossed the line.
There’s usually a reason behind someone’s downfall.
A person with no morals, no boundaries, no sense of decency, deserved whatever punishment care their way.
