The man looked at the cars piling up behind them before reluctantly stepping aside.
“Alright, Doctor, go ahead,” he said, his voice lacking much hope but offering no alternative.
Though he moved out of the way, his eyes remained watchful, closely observing both Davina and the old man.
He didn’t let his guard down for a second.
Davina moved closer, crouched beside the old man, and gently placed a hand on his shoulder. With a precise technique, she applied pressure to a specific spot, adjusting it carefully.
