Chapter 35 She Might Be a Fraud
The elderly man, who had been shaking violently, suddenly twitched.
This caught the attention of the man standing next to him, making him jump.
However, after a second glance, he saw that the old man had completely stopped shaking–he had calmed down!

At that point. Davina reached over with her other hand to check the man’s breathing and carefully lifted his eyelids to examine his eyes more closely..
The old man’s eyes appeared cloudy, with dark spots faintly scattered across the whites of his eyes.
As the man observed with growing interest, he suddenly noticed a silver needle in Davina’s hand, though he hadn’t seen her take it out.
Just as he was about to inquire, the needle was swiftly inserted into the back of the old man’s neck.
With a delicate flick of her fingers, a thin wisp of black mist began to emerge from the spot where the needle had been placed
The man was completely stunned by what he had just witnessed.
His eyes widened in shock, unable to believe what he was seeing
Gradually, the elderly man began to stir, his eyes fluttering open.
When he regained consciousness, he no longer appeared feeble or frail; instead, his face showed strength and his demeanor was sharp and clear.
With a clear, determined look in his eyes, the old man sat up straight.
“Sir! The man was overwhelmed with emotion, on the verge of tears.
The elderly man briefly looked at him before turning his attention to the young woman standing beside him.
Davina carefully pulled the silver needle out, now marked with a faint trace of black.
She swiftly tucked the needle away.
The man couldn’t help but wonder where this young doctor kept her needles–he hadn’t seen her take it out or put it away either time.
How had she pulled it out so discreetly, and where did it vanish afterward!
“It’s stable for now, but this is just a short–term solution. This treatment will keep you from relapsing for about two months, but after that, I can’t make any promises”
The old man’s condition was quite rare, and she still wasn’t entirely sure what it was.
However, even if she did know, she wasn’t obliged to fully cure him.
After all, she wasn’t doing charity.
Nevertheless, easing his pain for now was easy, and it would help manage his symptoms for a little while.
The man had mentioned having medication, so he could use that to keep his condition stable later on
Davina gathered her things and stood up, speaking to the young man, “If everything’s fine now, please move your car. Don’t block the road.”
The man quickly nodded. “Of course, Doctor. Thank you so much!”
The elderly man gazed at Davina, coming to the realization that it was this young woman who had helped him.

“Miss, thank you for your kindness. May I ask your name and which hospital you work at?” he asked graciously
Davina gave a slight smile. “It was just a coincidence. I’m Mother Teresa reborn”
With a polite nod, she turned and headed back to her car.
The old man watched her walk away, a smile slowly forming on his face.
“Let’s go.
The man quickly helped the elderly man to his feet and assisted him into the car.
Once he made sure the old man was settled in comfortably, he climbed into the driver’s seat and drove off.
Davina waited until their car had moved ahead before accelerating and turning right at the next intersection.
She drove in the opposite direction from the other vehicle.
The driver glanced in the rearview mirror and saw Davina’s car disappearing into the distance.

“Sir, we were incredibly lucky today. I never imagined we’d come across such a skilled doctor on the road. If not for her, I honestly don’t know what we would have done.”
The old man wasn’t expected to have an episode today, so they hadn’t brought any medication with them. They never anticipated him suddenly falling ill.
It had genuinely startled the man.
But after a while, the old man seemed to be in much better shape.
“Yes, that young woman she healed me with a single silver needle. That must be some form of holistic medicine, right?” be murmured, still puzzled. “But I’ve seen holistic practitioners before, and none of them ever treat me like that.”
The driver nodded in agreement. “I thought the same thing. Sir, you have no idea–her technique was extraordinary. Not even the ones we see on TV are that impressive. At first, I honestly thought she might be a fraud.”
