Some people even suspected Davina’s involvement in Maisie’s accident.
Whispers had circulated about Davina being seen near the spot where Maisie had fallen, which only fueled the fire.
Despite the reports of Davina going abroad, rumors that she had been jailed still lingered.
But Amanda and Emily knew the truth–Davina and Maisie hadn’t had any real conflict.

The two teammates continued bickering, arguing about who would try to win Davina’s affection. They didn’t notice that Ashen’s expression had turned serious.

Neither of the teammates picked up on the change in his tone.
