Even though the latest batch of experimental meds brought in decent money on the black market, there’s no such thing as

She had no idea that those two casual words would one day lead to an internationally coveted expert in herbal medicinal cultivation and pharmacology.
Nor could she have guessed that after Caleb and Reem were released, every company and recruiter circling like sharks waiting to hire them came up empty–handed.
