If Yaron hadn’t seen on the campus website that Sierra was at Northwind University today, he wouldn’t have risked coming out. Sierra was his last hope.
“I really know I was wrong, Sierra, please help me!”
Yaron looked pitiful, a far cry from the confident senior he once was. Sierra, looking at the person in front of her, realized she had been poor in judgment before. How could I have ever thought Yaron was decent?
“How exactly do you want me to help you?” Sierra asked calmly.
Hearing a hint of possibility. Yaron quickly said. “Just post a statement on your social media saying that I didn’t steal the items and that you were aware at the time. It’s not a big deal for you. Sierra. Considering how well I treated you before, please help me this once.”
Mentioning the past only irritated Sierra more.
“Before? Treated me well? Are you referring to when you knew I liked you and you led me on while groveling to Denise? Or letting others misunderstand, thinking I chased you around?”
Varon froze, unable to defend himself because what Sierra said was all true.
“I’m sorry, Sierra, I was wrong! Please forgive me this time. I can’t be expelled or thrown out; my family is poor, my father is seriously ill, and they all have high hopes for me. Sierra.”
But no matter what Yaron said, Sierra remained unmoved. Seeing her calm face, Yaron realized that nothing he said would change her mind, and his eyes filled with resentful hatred.

At that moment, Yaron resembled a desperate clown. Sierra, tired of his antics, was about to get into her car.

Sierra.
He thought overpowering Sierra would be easy, but he hadn’t expected her to be so agile and strong; he failed to land a single
stab.
He didn’t know that Sierra had learned to defend herself during three dark years in prison–even a cornered rabbit will bite, let alone someone who survived such an environment.
Jonathan was approaching while on the phone with Mateo, discussing Shane’s situation, absorbed in the conversation. However, spotting the scene from afar, his pupils dilated, and he rushed towards them.
Sierra wasn’t afraid of Yaron; he might look imposing, but he was ineffective, not even as tough as some of the women in
prison.
But the fruit knife in his hand was a problem. Seeing Sierra continuously evading, Yaron grew more frantic.
There were cameras here; school security would arrive soon.
