IRENES POV

It has been a whole week since my pig sister died and my lowlife mate got locked in the pack cells for trying to save her. The idiot thought that it could outrun a flying angel.

Everything has been going perfect. Even my wolf finally grew silent. Now and then I hear her whimpering. But she no longer threatens to crawl at the Angel Prince. That has allowed me to once more get comfortably close to him

Lately, she has been visiting my mate in his cell, whatever they talk, I don’t know. I will have to find a reason to get rid of her. But for now, there is a party downstairs waiting for me.

I quickly shower and Doreen helps me put on the dress. She styles my hair in a complex twist before gently applying make up on my face.

“You should gulp down some of that wine I brought you, it will help ease the nervousness” She suggests pointing at a glass of wine she came with.

“I look nervous?” I ask. I am used to feeling confident, I hate looking like ΠΙ sister.

“Yeah! But it’s understandable, it’s your nineteenth birthday and the Angel Prince and his family are in the party,” Doreen says.

“I will take your wine.” I reach out for the glass and quickly gulp down the contents. It tastes delicious but kind of strange. I don’t have time to ask for the ingredients of the wine, I can’t keep the guests waiting any longer.

I leave the room and Doreen tags behind as we head to the hall downstairs. The hall is already full to it’s capacity. There are so many guests, including some from other packs.

Only this pack has an Angel Prince, other kingdom’s have alphas. Most of them are allies to this pack. When Isaac phased and became an angel, every king and Prince was here to swear their loyalty to this kingdom. The park’s name was changed from crescent moon pack to Angels Land ridiculous because we have only a single angel throughout the kingdom. That’s how rare angels are.

“What? How did you make that sound?” The Prince asks, his mouth gaping. I smile. “I and my friends used to practice animal sounds, we thought we could make an animal choir one day 1 he.

He thinks I am kidding so he smiles and carries on pulling me towards the table. More guests surround us.

The tattered dress drops to the floor as Gigi stands tall in front of everyone. My parents stumble back, eyes wide and jaws on the floor.

“What have you done?!!” I hear Philly scream

“Doreen put a hormone stimulant in my drink!!! I am so sorry!” I mind–link her.

“Oh hell! The Prince will kill us! Get the hell out of here!” She replies

“I can’t, Gigi is in control now.” I tell her. I see her shake her head.

“No!” Lexclaim but she is already running. Everyone steps out of her way. She leaps over tables until we are out of the room. She splits into a run, guests and the Angel Prince follow us.

But we don’t stop until we are standing face to face with the day’s guard. “You’re not supposed to walk in here in your wolf form. If you want to see anyone, you have to shift back” She woman in uniform says.
