Chapter 6
An ocean of taffeta, silk, and satin rained down on Sienna as Jenna stood in her closet, chucking clothes over her shoulder at her servant. Sienns stood by the bed with four open sustcases in front of her, wondering how in the world she was going to get all of this into these containers, Jenna already had her ballgowns and several other outfits lying on the bed to be packed, and there just didn’t seem like there was enough room. This was geometry and physics—not wishful thinking–facts Sienna couldn’t argue with.
“Make sure that nothing gets wrinkled, you fat cow!” Jenna barked as a pair of jeans caught Sienna in the face, the button slicing her eye. She winced but didn’t make a sound. She’d have to make sure she didn’t get any blood on Jem’s clothes.
“There That’s all the clothes” Jenna said, turning around and punting her hands on her hips as Sienna set about trying to roll everything up so that it wouldn’t get wrinkled and might have a chance of fiting. Tl need to get my shoes too. And you’d better not forget my overnight bag that has all
of my toiletries and makeup“:
“Yes. Miss Jenna,” Sienna said with blood from the cat running into her eye. She squinted and looked out her right eye only. Jenna didn’t notice she was bleeding. She’d already moved to her shoe closet and was bringing out boxes and leixes of shoes.
This was never going to ht

the time Jenna had all of her shoes stacked by the bed, Sienna had most of her clothing packed, but there was hardly any room left in any of the suitcases. “Do you have another bag I can use for your shoes, Miss Jenna!“” she asked, not raising her face to look at the blonde because she knew she’d be angry
“Seriously, you stupid b*tch? How hard is this? For the love of the Goddess! Just make it fit! I don’t have time for this sh*!”
Jenna’s hand collided with Sienna’s cheekbone, jerking her head back and to the right. The sting hurt more than usual since her eye was already damaged. She stood still, waiting for Jenna to leave the room, and then took a deep breath, not allowing herself to cry. It simply wasn’t worth it.
As soon as Jenna was gone, Sienna wiped the blood from her eye on her shirt and moved her jaw around a little to try to get the tingling sting to subside. She’d have to figure out how to get the shoes into these bags or find another bag herself. She was pretty sure Jenna had more bags in her closet. She just didn’t like to mix and match more than one set of luggage when she traveled because she thought it looked tacky. If Sienna managed to get all of this loaded into the vehicle without her noticing, she might be okay.
It took another hour for her to get all of the shoes into another suitcase she found in the closet. She then had to lug them all down the stairs and load them into the family SUV, It was a Lamborghini, one of the most expensive SUVs around, and it really wasn’t that bag compared to some of the other vehicles they could’ve chosen. Sienna knew she’d have to fit all of the family’s luggage in the back, as well as her one small bag that contained one change of clothing and a few toiletries. And herself. She wouldn’t be allowed to sit in the back seat with Jenna, which meant she’d have to ride back here. Again, the puzzle seemed to have too many pieces to actually fit the container.
She had no choice but to go ahead and start putting the luggage in the best she could. At least the other servants would be riding in a different vehicle, so she didn’t have to worry about fitting their bags in ton. She had the majority of the suitcases in with just two left but no room for herself when she heard a sound that made her stomach twist into knots.
“Well, well, well, if it isn’t Stinky Sienna Elliott, standing by the curb. I didn’t know it was trash day!”
She didn’t turn to look because she recognized the voice. It was Brandy Witt, one of Jenna’s best friends. She did her best to stay focused on the problem at hand and ignore the group of girls since she knew without looking that Brandy wasn’t alone. They always traveled in a pack
“Hey, Sienna, didn’t you hear her!” Mona Parker asked, getting a laugh out of all of the girls.
A rock hit Sienna right in the back of the head. Pain radiated out from the spot where it had hit, and she thought for a moment she might blackout from the pain
“Don’t do that!”
The voice was Joel’s. Sienna thought for a moment maybe her secret friend was actually standing up for her. She turned to see the group of five girls standing on the road behind her and a little bit up the street, Joel was coming from the other direction, and he looked nud. His eyes were focussed on the girls, not her. “What if you miss and hit the Lamborghini?” he asked.
“Oh, you’re right. Sorry” Brandy said, looking ashamed..
Sienna’s face fell. She couldn’t help it. He wasn’t standing up for her. He was trying to protect the vehicle. Joel’s eyes flickered in her direction, but then he looked away and burrind over to the girls. They all stood chatting for a few moments while Sienna ignored the pain in her head and resorted the bags.
Jenna must’ve seen her friends outside because she came out the front door, shouting, “Hey biches!” and getting a laugh out of all of them. She spent several minutes talking to them about how amazing the ball was going to be and about how she couldn’t wait to meet Alpha Kalen Stone. At Trast no one was paying attention to Sienna at the moment.
Sienna finally had all of the bags in, but there was only a tiny spot left. She had no idea how she could possibly fit in it. Even as thin and petite as she was, she’d have to practically fold herself up to hit there, and it would be a three–hour drive. She simply didn’t think she could endure that sort of torture for so long. Hur what choice did she have?

pha kent and his wife. Luna Veronica, came out the door, fussing at one another about why he insisted on driving himself. “I’ve told you honey.
bored if I’m not driving”
lava game on your phone she suggested
jou just don’t want me to drive because you’re afraid I wreck the expensive car,” he said.
That’s not true! You just drive too fast.”
they continued to backer at one another until Kent shouted, “Jenna, say goodbye to your friends, and let’s go. Alpha Kaden is waiting on you!”
God, I’m so jelly” Brandy said as she hugged Jenna
I see you girls in a few days.” Jenna hugged all of them. “With a ring on my finger and the title of Luna Jenna!”
You’re so lucky” Mona said, flipping her long black hair.
See you b*tches later!” Jenna called and added a flirty, “Bye. Joel
See you. Jenna Joel said. His eyes then landed on Sienna. She swallowed hard but looked away.
Det in the dmn car, you moron Jenna shouted at Sienna
he looked at that small spot again and wondered how in the world she would get in. With a deep breath, she climbed up, spinning around to fit her ottom in the widest spot. Her legs were cramped and folded against her chest. She couldn’t reach the button to shut the gate, and there was no way he was going to ask Alpha Kent to close it when he and his wife were still talking Jenna already had her AirPods in and was jamming out in the ack seat. With her luck, the Alpha would leave with the back gate open, Sienna would fall out, and he’d run over her.
oel’s face appeared above her. “Be careful” he whispered briefly touching her hand. He then pushed the button to close the gate and disappeared.
The car began to back out of the driveway. Sienna could barely breathe in her cramped position, but she had plenty to think about to keep her mind off of things. Why had Joel said that? Why had he touched her! Did he really think of her as a friend–or possibly more!
Sienna couldn’t let herself think about that. As soon as this cursed ball was over, she was leaving one way or another, even if it cost her everything.
As they drove, she wondered what might happen if she struck out from Light Sky Pack territory. She didn’t know the land up there at all. For all she knew, it was surrounded by dangerous rogues. Then again, it would be harder for anyone in her current pack to track her down if she did that.
A world of possibilities opened up to her. All that really mattered was that she was leaving–and soon. With any luck, that rock that hit her in the back of the head would be the last one ever thrown her way.
