Inside the Dennis‘ place.
As soon as Charlotte entered the door, she saw Lisa with red eyes. Lisa cried out of breath, “Dad, Mom, I’m sorry. It was all my fault that I got deceived by Terry and made you humiliated.
“I’ve always been thinking of marrying someone who can help our family in the future. I want to repay you for raising me. However, I embarrassed you.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t want that to happen either.”
Regan patted Lisa on the shoulder. “Good child, you are also a victim. With time going on, people will stop talking about it.”
Loren’s eyes also turned red.
Charlotte smiled sarcastically and said, “What a lovely family. Did I come back at the wrong time?”
“Charlotte,” Loren anxiously called.
Charlotte looked at Loren and smiled.
Regan was so angry with Charlotte’s sarcastic words that his face turned red. He banged the table and said, “Watch your tone! Hasn’t Lisa already explained it? And don’t you see how much she blames herself?”

The voices of Charlotte and Terry came from the phone.
“It had nothing to do with me. Lisa shamelessly seduced me. She drugged me, and I thought of her as you.”
“Do you like her?”
“Of course not. I only like you.”
“But after all, you slept together. You have to be responsible for her.”
“It was not her first time. She isn’t pure enough for me.”
The recording stopped abruptly. Charlotte put away her phone.
Regan looked at Lisa with a thoughtful look.

Lisa was so afraid that her hair stood on end. “Dad, Mom, Charlotte, you have to believe me. Terry was lying. He drugged me and forced me. He is a beast.”
Lisa sobbed.
She looked so pitiful.
Regan patted Lisa’s back as if he was comforting her. “Lisa, we all believe in you. But now, we really need to confirm that Terry has really forced you. Only then can we go to the Gallegos family to negotiate with them.”
“I understand, Dad.” Lisa panicked, knowing that Regan was suspicious.
“But how can we prove it? don’t have any evidence,” Lisa said, biting her lower lip and looking so sad.
Charlotte interrupted at the right time, “How about you and Terry have a face–to–face confrontation in front of the two families? After you two confront, there will be an answer.”
“But…” Lisa hesitated.
“Okay.” Regan suddenly made the decision. “Since the Gallegos family is in the wrong, we must let them compensate us.”
In fact, Charlotte knew what Regan was thinking.
It was obvious that neither Lisa nor Terry had evidence. Otherwise, the matter would have been solved already.
Since there was no evidence, as the one who suffered more damage, the Dennis family had to be compensated.
Anyway, the Dennis family wouldn’t suffer any losses.
It was certainly a situation that Charlotte was willing to see.
Seeing that Lisa was still hesitating, Regan was a little unhappy. “Lisa, are you unwilling?”

Charlotte raised her eyebrows happily.

As soon as Charlotte went to her room, she sent Terry the voice recording of Lisa’s crying and complaining just now.
Charlotte sent a voice message in a crying voice: “Tero, Lisa said that you forced her.”
Terry replied very quickly: “Charlotte, you must believe me.”
Charlotte sent another voice message: “I believe you. But Dad wants you and Lisa to have a talk together. Will you prove your

Charlotte replied: “Okay, I believe you.”
Terry replied shamelessly: “I love you.”
Charlotte had already achieved her goal, so she did not reply to it.
“Regan is so cunning. He wants to step on me to seek benefits for himself. Does he think it is easy?” Terry gritted his teeth.
“Lisa is such a bitch! She defamed me behind my back. But I’m not going to let her have what she wants.”
Terry picked up his phone and dialed a number.

At midnight.
Charlotte tossed and turned on the bed, unable to sleep.
The first step of her plan had been successful, and the next step was to let Terry and Lisa fight with each other.
Charlotte was lost in thought.
Then, there was suddenly a slight creak sound.
It was the window.
Charlotte thought that the window was not closed properly and was blown open by the wind. She was about to get up to close it.
Suddenly, a figure flashed by. It was so fast that Charlotte thought it was an illusion.
Silence returned to the room in an instant.

Charlotte lay quietly for a few more minutes. After confirming that there was no one else in the room, she got up and turned on the light.
Charlotte walked around the room. There was nothing strange.
All of a sudden, her attention was drawn to the USB drive on the table.
Charlotte picked up the USB drive to take a look, took out her laptop, sat cross–legged on the bed, and inserted the USB drive into the computer.
There was only a short recording and a document on the USB flash disk.
“I’ll give you 8 million dollars. Kidnap Charlotte.” Terry’s voice was very clear.
Charlotte opened the document. It said, “The audio is identified to be original. It hasn’t been modified. After the voice was compared to Terry’s voice, it can be confirmed that it was Terry in the audio.”
Charlotte was surprised for a moment. Although she knew that Terry wouldn’t be so kind as to save her from the kidnapping and the water, she had no idea that it was Terry who hired people to kidnap her.
However, with this evidence, Charlotte’s chances of winning were greater.
Charlotte copied the contents of the USB drive into an encrypted folder on the computer. Then, she cut the chip of the USB drive into pieces and threw them into the trash can.

“Mr. Gallegos, the processed audio has been sent to Ms. Dennis,” a black–clothed man said respectfully.
Marcus closed his eyes and said nothing.
Jalen looked at the man in black and said, “You can leave now.”
The man in black left, bowing.
“Since you want to help her, why don’t you directly solve the problem for her?” Jalen asked curiously. Marcus was silent for a long time and then said, “I promised her that I would let her settle it herself.”
