Chapter 21
Charlotte and Natalia were good dancers.
The two girls were like two elves, dancing happily on the dance floor. Their graceful figures and light steps attracted everyone’s attention.
The way Dexter looked at Natalia became more and more enthusiastic. He had never expected that the girl he had dumped would have such an attractive side.
Dexter turned to look at Lisa. Although she was beautiful, her voice was a bit coy and her movements were pretentious. Compared to Charlotte and Natalia, Lisa was inferior.

When Dexter saw Natalia leave the hall alone, he told Lisa that he was going to the bathroom and followed Natalia out.
When Natalia came out of the bathroom, she met Dexter, who was waiting at the door.
Natalia looked unhappy and planned to walk past Dexter.
“Natalia, let’s make up. Dexter stretched out his hand and grabbed Natalia’s arm.
Natalia widened her eyes in surprise.
Dexter had just brought another woman to a ball and wanted to get back together with her. He must be crazy.
Seeing that Dexter did not seem to be joking, Natalia shook off his hand and said, “We’re done.”
Dexter was not happy. In his mind, Natalia was out of his league. He had lowered himself to get back together with her, and Natalia should feel happy about that.
“You still mind that I brought Lisa to the ball? I will tell her when I go back.” Dexter reached out to touch Natalia’s hair.
Natalia took a few steps back and avoided Dexter’s hand. “Don’t you understand? We’re done.”

was livid. Natalia’s words hurt him.
Dexter quickly took a few steps forward and pushed Natalia against the corner of the wall. He said fiercely, “You should feel honored that I have come to you. Don’t be ungrateful.”
Natalia looked at Dexter in disgust. “I didn’t expect you to be so mean. I’m glad that we broke up.”

“Don’t be so cocky. You don’t even have a date. You’re pitiful.” With an evil smile, Dexter held Natalia’s hands with one hand and gently brushed across Natalia’s face with another. “If you stay with me for a night, I will pity you and continue to be your boyfriend.”
“Don’t dream.” Natalia spat on Dexter’s face.
“How dare you!” Dexter grabbed Natalia’s chin and kissed her fiercely.
Natalia struggled with all her might, but she could not break free.
Natalia’s eyes were instantly filled with tears. She tightly bit her lips and whimpered.
When the people passing by the bathroom saw Dexter, they didn’t want to cause trouble and lowered their heads, pretending
not to see it.
However…
A loud sound was heard.
Natalia felt that she could break free, and Dexter slid down weakly.
Looking closely, she saw that Dexter curled up on the floor and was kicked crazily by a strange man, shouting for help.
Many people surrounded them, and some even called the police. But everyone was stunned by the man’s aura, and no one dared to come forward to help Dexter.
“Enough, stop fighting,” Natalia said tremblingly.
The man stopped beating Dexter and turned around.
It was Cordell.
Cordell walked back to Natalia, squatted down, and asked in a gentle voice, “How are you?”
Natalia raised her head and looked at the handsome man in front of her. Inexplicably, she replied, “It’s dirty.”
“Close your eyes.” Cordell smoothed his furrowed brows and said lightly.
Natalia felt that the voice seemed to have a kind of magic that made people obey. She gently closed her eyes.
Then she felt a nice smell rush into her nose, and then soft lips came up to her and sucked on her lips.
Natalia’s eyelashes shook a bit, but she didn’t refuse.
It wasn’t until Cordell’s lips left her that she gently wiped her lips with a gentle smile. “It’s clean now.”
“Silly girl, open your eyes.” Cordell bent his finger and knocked Natalia on the forehead.
Natalia came to her senses and slowly opened her eyes.
Cordell held Natalia by the waist and pulled her up, his hand never leaving her.

Dexter, who was lying on the ground, finally caught his breath. Staring at Cordell’s back, he said through his clenched teeth, “Do you know who I am? How dare you hit me?”
Looking at Cordell, who turned around, Dexter was shocked. “Mr. Huffman?”
“Who are you?” Cordell asked with a frown.
“I’m Dexter Thomson. My grandfather was sick a while ago, and you helped him.” Dexter immediately changed his attitude.
Cordell was a doctor, and his medical skills were outstanding. He had saved too many important people and had a good relationship with Marcus.

No one dared to offend someone like him.
“Oh,” Cordell indifferently replied. Then he said something that scared Dexter, “You bullied my woman?”
“No. I didn’t know that Natalia, no. I didn’t know that Ms. Yarnell is your girlfriend. Otherwise, how could I dare to touch her?” Dexter was so anxious that he stammered.
“What do you want to do with him?” Cordell looked at Natalia gently.

Natalia shook her head.
Charlotte waited for a long time but didn’t see Natalia come back, so she was worried. She went to the bathroom to find Natalia.
As soon as she got close, she saw that many people gathered outside the bathroom, and she had a bad feeling.
Pushing aside the crowd, Charlotte saw Natalia leaning against Cordell’s arms. Dexter was lying on the ground with a wounded face.
“What’s going on?” Charlotte hurried to Natalia and pulled her back into her arms.
Cordell felt lost and uncomfortable when Charlotte dragged Natalia from his arms.
Natalia hid her face on Charlotte’s shoulder and shook her head.
“Get out of the way. The police are here. Who called the police?”
The policemen arrived at the scene.
But no one admitted that they had called the police.
Anyone could see that Cordell was someone they could not afford to offend.
The policeman frowned and looked at Dexter, who was on the ground. “Who hit you?”
Dexter quivered and quickly said, “I was playing with my friends. No one hit me.”
The police left after warning the crowd not to make trouble.
“Just go away. There’s nothing to see.” Charlotte walked out with Natalia.
Cordell followed behind them.
Back in the hall, the three people found a sofa and sat down.
“Thank you.” Natalia raised her head and looked at Cordell.
Cordell smiled and solemnly introduced himself, “That’s what I should do. I am Charlotte’s friend, and I am Cordell Huffman.”
“Cordell Huffman? The frivolous man, Cordell?” Natalia thought.
“My name is Natalia, and I’m Charlotte’s friend too,” Natalia said, looking a bit disappointed.
“Charlotte, I want to go back.” Natalia looked at Charlotte.
“Alright, I’ll go back with you.” Charlotte nodded.
Cordell suddenly said to Charlotte with a meaningful smile, “Just stay for a little longer. Maybe there is a surprise for you. I’ll send her back.”
“Alright. Charlotte, you can dance yourself,” Natalia said.
Charlotte thought that Cordell wanted to find a chance to stay with Natalia, so she did not refuse and told Natalia to let her know when she arrived at the dormitory.
