Chapter 306 The Pot Smashed and Secrets Spilled
Tessa said. “Ethan went to the Reed mansion, and when he left, he kicked over the flowerpot by the front door.”
Stella blinked. “What?”
Tessa continued. “It shattered. He kicked it hard, like he wanted to bring down the whole Reed house”
“What on earth made him so angry? Stella was questioned.
Ethan losing it in front of the Reed mansion? That didn’t sound right.
No one knows exactly what happened in there, but he was angry. So wait to get home, he started to vent right there at the Reed’s front gate. And you know how
angry that he didn’t ever protective he’s always been of Lillian Reed
It didn’t make sense. A meltdoen like that shouldn’t have come from Ethan, and certainly not at the Reed
But that kick! It had happened.
“Did he have a tight with Lillian?”
“Unlikely. She’s practically on her deathbed. What could they possibly be arguing about?”
Even if there had been disagreements, he would have held back, unless it was something he couldn’t tolerate
at all
Stella muttered, “What if she was having affairs abroad and he just found out?”
Tessa paused. “Well… that might explain it.”
After all, every man wants his wife to be clean.
“But didn’t Ethan trust Lillian completely?”
In the old days, even the slightest negative comment about Lillian would have made him fume like a thundercloud.
Tessa guessed, “Maybe he caught her sneaking around?”
“Do you think she has the strength for that right now?” Stella asked back.
Even if she had the will, her body certainly couldn’t keep up.
True. So no one really knows. But now it looks like he wants nothing to do with her. Lillian has really hit rock bottom.”

Ethan was her only hope. And now it seemed that she had lost him as well.

“Anyway, let’s stop talking about her. You’ve already had your revenge on the Reed family.”
Stella hadn’t lifted a finger the whole time, but to see that family falling apart now….
That karma? Brutal.
Especially Lillian: Stella didn’t have to do anything. Fate took care of it.
Even the heavens are on Stella’s side.
Then Stella frowned. “Wait, how do you know all this?”
The Reed mansion is miles away from where she is, right?
Tessa laughed, “I was out on an interview. My appointment was at one of the mansions on the Reed estate. I just happened to see Ethan storm out and send the flowerpot flying
Stella gasped. “!!!”
Definitely a gossip magnet.
No matter where she went, drama followed.
“Oh, by the way. Rianne’s coming back. Are you coming back to Rivermount? If you do, Madam Susan will definitely come after you again. But… I doubt if she’s got time.”
After all, the man she’d shared a bed with for decades had fathered twins with another woman. What else did she have to worry about?
They chatted a bit more before hanging up. Just then, Abraham entered the room.
“Broth’s off the table.”
“What?” Stella blinked.
What did that mean?
Abraham stepped forward, gently ruffled her soft hair, and began to remove her heavy cloak.
“We’re going to Kealis Island. Right now.”
“Now?”
He nodded. “Yes. I’ve already had summer clothes delivered for you.”
It was the height of summer on Kealis Island. The clothes she’d worn on the plane wouldn’t do.

I hadn’t eaten for almost two days. I’d been running for so long back in Pagena, using up every ounce of
energy.
Not to mention the flight afterwards….
Just remembering those scenes made Stella give Abraham an annoyed look.
“I’m tired, hungry… and sore.”
His gaze softened immediately. He stroked her hair again. “Food’s on the way
“Okay.”
That is all I need to hear
When Abraham gently removed the scarf from around her neck, the marks underneath were suddenly visible.
“Does it still hurt?”
The moment he asked, his voice became extra soft.
Stella’s mind went blank, and her cheeks turned crimson.
This time. Abraham had been especially patient. Even though it is hard for him to control himself, he doesn’t
want to hurt me.
In fact, he had left me with a sense of tenderness I had never known before.
But his endurance… that part is undeniable. Even without any visible injuries. I’m still sore.
