I looked at Winona and smiled softly. “I’ve told you before that I’m trying to escape from them. Only you can help me with that. I hate Yvonne and the rest of my family, which is why I’m helping you with this.”
Winona exhaled. “I’ve always treated Yvonne as my best friend. I never thought she’d ever want to hurt me. There really is poison in her bag.”
I laughed softly. “Have you only just realized that she’s someone like that? She’ll do anything to get what she wants.”
Winona looked into my eyes. “How do you want me to help you?”
“Simple. Tell your boyfriend, Sean, that she’s the one who poisoned you and get him to handle this. I know your boyfriend is from the upper social circle and quite powerful If he wants to, he’ll torture Yvonne to death.”
Winona looked at me and shook her head. “I can do that, but now isn’t the right time. I want to pretend to take the poison.
“You probably don’t know this, but my impending marriage with Sean is just a marriage of convenience. He told me before that his relationship with me was just a means to placate the elders in his family. I’m not sure if he really loves me.”
1 frowned. I was not familiar with their situation.

This request was not difficult for Winona. She agreed to it readily.
Everything led to what happened next. She contacted the hospital to help out with the act yesterday and successfully tricked Yvonne and Sean.
I watched her drink the water and asked, “Have you gotten your answer?”
Winona shook her head. “I have no idea. I don’t know if Seam really loves me. That’s why I want to continue pretending to be unconscious. Meanwhile, I think you can gradually reveal some clues to Sean and see if he’ll take revenge on Yvonne.”
I nodded. “Got it. How long are you planning to put on this act?”

truth.
Yvonne arrived at the hospital in the afternoon. By then, Winona was back lying in bed like a patient.
She looked at Winona in bed and scoffed. Yvonne asked, “How is she? Did she wake up?”
I glanced at Winona and shook my head. “Nope. She’s still unconscious. By the way, I met Sean this morning. He stayed by Winona’s side the entire night.”

Yvonne’s eyes brightened but later turned cold. She raised her leg and kicked Winona’s bed viciously. The bed shook from the impact.
“Damn you, Winona! How can you still seduce a man in this condition? Sean will be mine once you’re dead. Let’s see how you can take him away from me then.”
Winona’s eyelashes quivered, but Yvonne was too angry to notice this detail.
“What do you plan to do next, Yvonne?”
“There’s only one thing left to do, and that’s to find out if Winona can be dead once and for all.”
