Zach’s face darkened as he pulled out his phone. “Where is everyone? Why didn’t they come?
“Are they ignoring me now?”
Someone nearby looked surprised. “Mr. Jefferson, you don’t know?”

Zach frowned. “Know what?”
“Joel and Yulia got engaged today. It was a huge, luxurious event, and they even live–streamed it.”
“Who got engaged?” Zach shot up from his seat. “Yulia and Joel?”
“Yeah, since it’s Yulia, we all thought you knew.”
Zach suddenly kicked over his chair in anger. “What the hell?!
“Yulia’s crazy about me! How could she get engaged to someone else?!”
A woman scoffed. “Why not?
“You’ve postponed your engagement with her over and over. Anyone would get angry and upset.”
“No, that’s impossible,” Zach shook his head and mumbled as if to convince himself. “I never agreed to break up with her. How could she leave me?”
“Oh, please. You’ve treated Yulia like crap because of Sienna. She stayed with you as long as she did because she’s way too nice.”
Zach’s temple twitched in anger. He stormed out of the restaurant without a word.
Sienna immediately chased after him and called out desperately, “Zach, where are you going? Wait for me!”
