The individuals who arrived were none other than Rubina and her daughter, Abigail.

Rubina, with a few million worth of Hermes in hand, exuded an air of elegance and power. She approached Janelle and said. “You b*tch, you should know why I’m here!”

Rubina took a deep breath and gritted her teeth as she said. “You bich, over the years, you’ve provoked me time and time again. I’ve always brushed it off as childish tantrums because I pity you for losing your mother at such a young age, so I didn’t want to quarrel with you, but… how dare you jeopardize my daughter’s future happiness with your twisted intentions? Hearing Rubina mention her late mother, Janelle, who was impervious to harm, suddenly felt a piercing pain in her heart.

The expression on Abigail’s face stiffened. She was clearly taken aback. “Enough with your nonsense! All you need to know is that I’m getting engaged to Drayton on the eighteenth of next month. If the Quiller family finds out about a woman with such a notorious reputation prancing around him, they won’t sit idly by!”
Janelle couldn’t bear to listen to her boasts any longer. She turned to the side, crossing her arms over her chest.
“Abigail, the smartest thing you can do is to keep your man in check. If you’re worried, you might as well take his ‘thing‘ with you wherever you go! Putting on an act in front of me is useless, you know. One who has nothing to lose is fearless!”

“What are you implying with that statement? Are you openly challenging me?” Infuriated, Rubina advanced further toward Janelle and raised her hand as if to slap her again.
However, she had only reached out halfway when an Alsatian that Janelle had suddenly lunged at Rubina and tugged at her clothes!

Rubina let out a terrified scream as she tried to fend off the dog. Abigail, standing nearby, was also shrieking in fear. She wanted to help but was afraid of getting bitten. The situation instantly plunged into chaos.
Just as the dog was about to claw at Rubina’s face, Janelle immediately called out its name, “Draco! Come here!”

The dog obediently ceased its attack and returned to Janelle’s side.

Though Rubina hadn’t been bitten, her clothes were torn at the chest. The fright had gotten to her, leaving her in a state of shock for quite some time. Her heart pounded uncontrollably.
“Mom, let’s go. This is a ferocious dog. It’s too dangerous?”
Abigail was also startled. She shot a fierce glare at Janelle and the dog, then quickly dragged Rubina out the door.
As Janelle watched the two troublemakers drive away, the shop finally quieted down. She couldn’t help but squat down to pat the dog’s head and shower it with a few words of praise
This Alsatian never attacked people without reason. It was simply fiercely loyal to its owner, with high intelligence and a keen sense of intuition. It was like her personal bodyguard always either by her side or stationed at her shop.
In the following days. Janelle didn’t let the conflict with Rubina and Abigail bother her. She brushed off their verbal spats as nothing more than talking smack, and continued to focus on the various tasks in her own shop
However, on a morning a week later, her phone rang while she was sleeping. It was the store manager from the branch, who sounded quite anxious
