Janelle felt trapped, her face pressed into the couch, the air thick around her.

She instinctively tried to break free, but the difference in strength was undeniable. Despite her regular exercise and fitness, resistance felt futile in the moment.
She could feel his intensity, like a storm tearing through her, relentless and untamed.
His actions were raw, driven by some deep frustration or anger, as though he was trying to release something within himself. The energy between them was overwhelming, chaotic, and she found herself caught in it.
There was an unpredictability about him, something in his nature that felt both intense and unsettling.
Janelle closed her eyes, feeling as if her thoughts were slipping away. She was caught in the moment, the weight of his presence overwhelming her. For a brief instant, she allowed herself to be swept up in the intensity of it all, struggling to maintain control as everything around her spun wildly.
It was hard to tell how much time had passed before everything finally settled down
She slumped disheveled on the couch, feeling as if she was falling apart. She didn’t want to talk or even think, just languishing in a numb and listless state.
Meanwhile, Drayton had already pulled up his pants, standing there unhurriedly buttoning up his shirt, a brief sense of satisfaction and tranquility washing over him after his release.
His well–tailored grey shirt, now bearing a few extra creases from her grasp, still perfectly outlined his lean waist, muscular back, and sturdy chest.
At this moment, it seemed as though Janelle had momentarily forgotten the tension and conflict that had defined their interactions.
Her gaze was fervently glued to his tall and handsome figure, feeling somewhat entranced and lost in a whirlwind of emotions.
Drayton straightened out his clothes and turned around, only to meet Janelle’s slightly lost gaze. However, after a brief few seconds of eye contact, the usual indifference returned to his eyes.
“I’ve said all that needs to be said tonight. From now on, I don’t want to see you at the Hayward residence.”
After dropping his final remark, he grabbed his phone and car keys, heading straight for the door.
Janelle, having long grown accustomed to his ruthless demeanor, remained unfazed, her emotions staying firmly in check as she watched him leave,
But just as he was about to open the door, Janelle, as if possessed, called out to stop him,
“Mr. Quiller, did you forget to pay?”
He paused in his steps,
Janelle stared at him without flinching, her voice cool and measured, carrying the weight of a business transaction. A nonchalant smile played on her lips as she spoke. “We settled our accounts last month. Tonight’s event will be considered. separately.”
Upon hearing these words, Drayton contemptuously closed his eyes.
After less than ten seconds of contemplation, he took out his phone, opened her WhatsApp, and began transferring money to
her.
“Add me again.” he said in a muffled tone.

Only then did Janelle remember that she had blocked him since their last break–up. So, she took out her phone and removed him from the blacklist.
Janelle quickly received the transfer notification on her phone. But as her eyes scanned the amount, her expression shifted, a flicker of disbelief crossing her face.
“Five hundred,” Drayton said flatly, his words cutting through the air with an emotionless finality. “That’s all you’re worth.
Janelle was slightly taken aback.
“All right.” She gritted her teeth and scoffed with a defiant stance. “Well, I might as well call the police right now, Claim that we’re conducting illegal transactions of silver for prostitution here. We can all enjoy a lovely stint in jail together for a couple of weeks! I have all the time in the world anyway, but you, on the other hand, might have to postpone your grand wedding with your fiancee.”“
After she finished speaking, she seriously went ahead and dialed nine one one on her phone’s call screen…..
Drayton looked at her with an expression akin to watching a lunatic, finding himself utterly speechless for quite some time.
“Do you love money that much?” he asked.
“Should I be loving you then?” She retorted..
His eyes darkened, a wave of irritation surged from within his heart once more.
No longer wanting to engage in pointless discussions with her, he pulled out his phone and swiftly navigated to a particular finance app. Without even blinking, he transferred ten million into her account.
“From now on, stay as far away from me as possible. Consider this ten million as payment for burying our relationship deep within your heart!”
After dropping those words, he walked toward the door with an icy demeanor. With a loud bang, he slammed the door. behind him and left without another word.
