By the time Raylee realized what was going on, she was already being held in a bridal carry by the masked
man.
Beneath his mask, a pair of jet–black eyes were intensely fixed on her. His voice, hoarse and deep, resonated as he said, “Why didn’t you stand further away while watching the commotion? What if you got hurt by accident?”
At that moment, Raylee’s heart was pounding with excitement. “Why are you back?”
“I missed you…” He deliberately lowered his voice, uttering words that only the two of them could hear. Raylee didn’t want to make their relationship public, so he had no choice but to keep it under control. Raylee had assumed he had another home out there with another woman, and that he would never return to her side again.
