Raylee dashed out of the living room, frantically finding the masked man. She asked him, “Did the doctor mention anything? Is it really the side effect of the scar removal cream? Could there be something else wrong with my health? Tell me the truth, Leo! Don’t hide anything from me!”
The masked man furrowed his brows, and schooled her in a rather stern tone, “Of course, it’s the side effects of the scar removal cream. What are you thinking? What else could I possibly hide from you?”
“But-”
The masked man interrupted in a serious tone, “There are no ifs or buts, so just ease your mind. Eat, drink, and have fun as usual. If you can’t stand the Goodridge family, I can have them taken care of right away. Whatever you wish to pursue, I will support you. All I want is for you to be happy.”
Raylee couldn’t see the expression on his face. Is he telling the truth or is he lying?
Even though she was overwhelmed with waves of anxiety inside, his comforting actions greatly eased her
nervousness.

The masked man placed his hand on her forehead, letting out a sigh as he said, “I’m glad the fever has subsided. The doctor mentioned that the medication you usually take could potentially react adversely with the unidentified drug in the alcohol. For the next few days, don’t go to university. You must stay home and constantly monitor your health.”
Raylee nodded. “I’ll follow your advice. By the way, I noticed a tattoo on my lower back that I don’t remember getting. Could you ask the doctor what’s going on?”
“You got a tattoo and you didn’t know?” the masked man asked in surprise.
“I’ve never gotten a tattoo, not even on my eyebrows, which is why I find it so odd.”
“I noticed this tattoo the first time I helped you apply the scar removal cream. It was just a faint mark then, but now it’s getting darker.”
“What? Tattoo ink can get darker over time?” Raylee was flabbergasted.
The tone of the masked man became serious as he said,
“Moreover, this tattoo symbol is representative of a foreign terrorist organization. Its implications are far from good. I’ve actually been wanting to ask you, why did you choose to tattoo this symbol on your body?”
“Why didn’t you ask me, then? Have the doctor remove it for me tomorrow, I don’t want this tattoo anymore.” Raylee said, her face etched with worry.
She pondered deeply, then speculated with a hint of suspicion, “Could it be that he was the one who tattooed me?”
“Who? The apprentice of that Epean professor?”
Raylee nodded. “Correct. During the time we were in contact, he performed several surgeries on my lower back. It’s highly likely, that he had it tattooed on back then. But why would he tattoo the symbol of a terror organization on me? It’s so terrifying.”

The next day, after conducting a thorough examination of Raylee’s tattoo, the medical team proceeded to remove it using laser treatment.
To their astonishment, however, they discovered that laser surgery was utterly incapable of removing the
tattoo.
They tested and analyzed the chemical solution’s components, only to find out that it wasn’t a chemical solution at all.
In other words, the tattoo on Raylee’s waist was not a tattoo at all.
It was merely a scar that resembled a tattoo.
This completely flabbergasted Raylee.
What’s this about scar tissue proliferation, and its association with the emblem of a terrorist organization? Was it a coincidence or a deliberate act?
Meanwhile, Tiffany was fuming at the Lorimer Estate.
“Hadn’t the scandal been suppressed already? Why has it suddenly become trending again? Get on it; shut down all media outlets and platforms that are spreading my scandal! If they can’t be silenced, then sue them until they go bankrupt!”
The assistant, standing off to the side, said in a timid and hesitant manner, “Ms. Tiffany, the public relations department has informed us, that there are hundreds of thousands of platforms worldwide, both big and small, where scandals can be published. We simply have no way of stopping it.”
“What do we do now? Am I supposed to just watch as my embarrassing moments become known to everyone in the world? You’re all so useless! Hurry up and find me a solution! We must suppress this by all means necessary, regardless of the cost!” Tiffany roared in anger.
Her own scandal, involving five men, had spread all over the internet like wildfire. It even made it onto the international trending news.
Not only were there pictures, but there were also live broadcasts that were too disturbing to watch, available for the enjoyment of people all over the world.
