Harriet had never seen Raylee this angry before, not even on the day she was pushed into the swimming pool and nearly drowned. She had never exuded such a powerful aura. Could she genuinely intend to fight with Samuel till the bitter end?

Casimir’s face was devoid of emotion as he quietly pushed Waverly away, entering the private room without uttering a word.
Raylee also stared at him, their eyes meeting. The anger painting her face softened instantly, and her thoughts of resentment gradually faded away.

He mentioned that after he rescued you from the psychiatric hospital, you vanished. Where have you been these past few days? Do you realize how dangerous it is to wander alone while still injured? Or did you go to Jeremiah’s place?”
His tone was heavy with worry, and there was a hint of jealousy when he spoke his last sentence.
Kaylee was left utterly confused. Why is Casimir not…playing by the book?
Regardless, since Percival hadn’t told the truth, she wouldn’t betray him either.
She shook her head. “I’m fine.”

Had he not called Percival to treat her. Percival wouldn’t have discovered that she had been confined to a psychiatric hospital

As his words fell, everyone present was taken aback.
They couldn’t believe such unrefined words came from Casimir’s mouth!
“Casimir, have you lost your mind? Do you even realize what you’re saying? You’re helping her to seek revenge. Are you planning to deal with me?” Samuel exclaimed, clearly agitated.
“You have yourself to blame for doing such a heinous thing. If it were up to me, I would’ve sent you to your grave long ago!” Casimir retorted.
With eyes reddened, Waverly reproached, “Casimir, you’re my fiance. How could you side with an outsider against my family?”
“An outsider?” Casimir frowned, “Looks like all your constant regard of her as your sister and proclamation of your care for her is just for show.”
Waverly’s mouth fell open in protest, and she said aggrievedly. That’s not true. I’ve never treated Raylee like an outsider.”
