Hearing this, Torin’s brow furrowed instantly. He snatched the invitation from my hand and examined it closely.
When he saw that the invitation was indeed from Mira, his eyes widened in shock. “How is this possible?!”
Seeing his reaction, Elora quickly asked, “What’s wrong, son? Is the invitation real? Did that wretched Aris forge it?”
Torin shook his head, his voice trembling. “The unique wax seal on the envelope is genuine.”
Then, he turned to me, disbelief written all over his face. “Tell me, where did you get this invitation?!”
Damon, noticing Torin’s distress, asked softly, “Son, Aris did raise you for many years. Maybe Mira sent her the invitation out of respect for your feelings?”
Torin immediately dismissed the idea. “No way! Mira told me that I was in charge of preparing all the invitations. “He added, “She only personally made one invitation, saying it was for the most important person in her life.”
Hearing this, both Damon and Elora’s faces changed.
Even the guests nearby couldn’t help but gather around, murmuring among themselves.
“I heard the current Luna, Mira, was born an Omega. She doesn’t have any relatives attending today.”
“Then how did Aris get that invitation?”
“Right, wasn’t that unique invitation supposed to be for the most important person in Luna Mira’s life? And that person is Aris?”
