After they unpacked their stuff, Melea and Solomon chatted with Jennifer for a bit before they grabbed their presents to head over to the Graham family to visit Angela’s teacher.
Before they left, they also asked Jennifer not to prepare dinner.
Jennifer nodded and asked them to be careful before she watched them leave.
The Graham family house was not far away, but Solomon was not the type to remain silent.
He kept asking Melea to tell him about the Imperial City.
Even though Melea had lived fifteen years in the Imperial City, she often traveled back and forth between the dance troupe and the Foster family. She seldom went elsewhere.
She also stayed at home more frequently after Samuel discovered her love.
…Aside from the time they went to the church in the suburbs.
When Solomon heard that there was a church, he asked Melea to bring him over when she was free.
Solomon was her cousin and loved traveling around.
Olivia Zimmer, his mother, could keep an eye on him while they were in Alsingard, but after they came to Sommerset, he acted like a dog free of his leash and just kept running around wherever he wanted.
Melea caved to his insistent pleas and agreed to it. “Once we celebrate Mr. Graham’s birthday, I’ll bring you over.‘”
Solomon was finally satisfied and let go of her arm.
Once they arrived at the Graham family house, they saw the servants preparing for the birthday party.
When the butler saw them, he brought them to the living room, and they saw Ivan Graham sitting on the couch.
Melea put Angela’s prepared present on the table. “Mr. Graham, my parents wish you a happy birthday, and may you continue living a happy life.
“Solomon and I also hope that you can live a long and healthy life.”
Their well wishes made Ivan smile brightly, and he was so happy that he patted the chair’s armrest.
