Nathan furrowed his brows, swiftly walking over with the intention of asking her if she was feeling unwell.
Little did anyone know, Olivia didn’t even glance at him. She simply sat upright.
A flicker of annoyance flashed through his dark eyes, making Nathan’s usually cold demeanor even chillier than usual.
Upon seeing him, Emma immediately dropped her previous annoyed demeanor, replacing it with a face full of smiles as she shyly looked at him. “Nathan, let me introduce you. This is our company’s new programmer. His name is Yannick.”
Yannick appeared quite youthful and had been sitting next to Emma all along.
“Hello, Mr. Carter,” greeted Yannick.
Nathan nonchalantly nodded, as a form of acknowledgement.
Once seated, Nathan didn’t beat around the bush. He got straight to the point and said, “This collaboration opportunity will be given to only one of your companies.”
“Nathan, what’s your plan for the match?” Emma asked.
“It’s quite simple. We attack each other’s systems. The stronger one gets the spot. What do you think?” Nathan turned to look at Olivia, seeking to understand her intentions.
“I have no objections.” Indeed, that was the most straightforward and ruthless method, and thus, Olivia had no objections.
Since she had no objections, naturally, Emma had no objections either.
She simply didn’t believe that Olivia could win that competition.
After all, Yannick was a top–notch expert, of which she had invested heavily. In contrast, Olivia was just a woman. The disparity in their abilities was glaringly obvious.
Emma cast a glance at Olivia, making no attempt to hide the triumph in her eyes. Silently, she thought to herself, Just wait, Olivia. Soon, you’ll be crying.
The collaboration opportunity at that time was something Patel Group was determined to secure.
Once the competition format was settled, both parties fired up their computers, showcasing their respective company’s systems.
Yannick introduced eagerly, “Mr. Carter, my security system has won an award. Even some renowned hackers from abroad couldn’t break through it.”
As he introduced those, he exuded an exceptional level of confidence, as if he had already secured a win for the day.
The smile on Emma’s face turned even more triumphant.

Yannick looked intensely serious, his forehead slick with sweat.
Involuntarily, Emma furrowed her brows, lifting her gaze to look at Olivia.
Olivia appeared calm and composed, carrying herself with an air of assured victory.
Thus, Emma began to feel a bit uneasy.
Three minutes later, Yannick let out a frustrated cry. He hammered his hands down on the keyboard, then turned to look at Olivia.
He never imagined his opponent would be that formidable!
As soon as the competition started, Olivia launched a powerful assault on her opponent, giving him no room to breathe. Within a mere three minutes, she had completely obliterated his firewall.
The moment she successfully infiltrated her opponent’s system, Olivia’s eyebrows lifted subtly, a slow smile spreading across his lips.
Initially, she thought it would be a long–drawn–out competition, but it turned out to be quite easy, as though it had ended before it even began.
