When it all came to an end, Yannick was in disbelief.
After all, his opponent’s system remained heavily guarded with not even a corner being breached.
The disparity in power between the two sides was truly overwhelming!

Emma’s eyes widened in disbelief. Her face, adorned with delicate makeup, was a canvas of shock. Yannick… lost. Patel Group lost!
She couldn’t accept such an outcome. Her complexion turned extremely unpleasant, completely devoid of the smugness she had just moments ago.
“Didn’t you say you would win?” Emma questioned Yannick in a hushed tone, her teeth clenched in frustration.
The latter remained silent, simply fixing his gaze on Olivia.
“Well, now we know the result. Thank you.” Olivia said coldly to Yannick.
The latter stared at her, utterly incredulous that he had actually lost to a woman.
Seeing the outcome, Nathan quietly breathed a sigh of relief. Indeed, she has not let me down.
Thus, he said, “It seems Horizon Ventures truly lives up to its reputation. I’m looking forward to a pleasant collaboration in the future.”
Then, he stood up and extended his hand toward Olivia.
Olivia held on for a moment but quickly let go, saying lightly, “Pleasure working with you.”
Nathan looked at his own hand, tugging lightly at the corner of his mouth. She was truly avoiding him as if he were an evil creature and holding his hand for a moment longer would cause some sort of harm.
At that moment, Ethan placed a pre–prepared contract on the table. “Ms. Monroe, here’s the contract. Please review it and if there are no issues, sign your name.”
After a quick glance, Olivia found no issues and efficiently signed her name.
Nathan also signed his name.
With that, Carter Group and Horizon Ventures officially entered into a partnership.
Olivia looked at the contract in her hands and suddenly found it somewhat amusing. What’s the point of this match? It was nothing more than a one–sided steamroll.
She handed the contract over to Benjamin and then began to pack up her things.
Since everything had already been taken care of, she didn’t want to linger any longer.
Apart from business matters, she truly didn’t want to have too much contact with Nathan.
After putting away her things, she gave Nathan a nod. “Mr. Carter, I’ll be heading out first.”

A slight frown creased Nathan’s brow, though he didn’t say much. He simply stated, “I’ll escort you out.”
Olivia wanted to refuse, but when the words reached the tip of her tongue, she still couldn’t voice them out. Fine, if he wants to see me out, I’ll just go along with it.
Upon seeing Nathan escorting Olivia out, Emma quickly gathered her belongings and hurried after them.
Yannick was one step ahead of her and directly blocked Olivia’s path.
Seeing that, Benjamin quickly stepped forward, positioning himself protectively in front of Olivia.
“Is there something you need?” Olivia asked, her tone icy.
With an apologetic smile on his face, Yannick asked, “Ms. Monroe, may I presume to ask you a question? Did you create that system?”
Olivia didn’t respond. Instead, she asked, “Is there a problem?”
Yannick shook his head, a look of admiration in his eyes as he regarded her. “No. It’s just that your system is truly impressive. Horizon Ventures does live up to its reputation.”
Next, he lifted his hand and–rubbed his nose, revealing a shy smile. He asked, “May I have your contact information?”
Not long after graduating from university, Yannick had always been a figure akin to a scholar, carrying an air of arrogance.
He just didn’t expect that not long after he started working, someone would ruthlessly shatter his strong suit.
Where others might have been disheartened, he didn’t seem discouraged at all. Instead, he appeared to hold some admiration for Olivia.
The main reason was that he felt the system she created bore some resemblance to the methods of the infamous foreign hacker known as “Grim Reaper,” who was his idol.
