Olivia’s return to Wirthon was hasty, and the arrived empty–handed. After purchasing a house, she still needed to buy marry things. She was occupied for several days before finally settling in. The following day, she began searching for a school for Learn to attend. After all, she knew she would be swamped with setting up a new branch for the company in the future?
Liam frowned and grumbled during breakfast, ‘Mommy, can I not go to kindergarten? Those kids are so immature. I can’t play with them! I know thousands of words, but they still play in the sandpit.” The young boy’s tone filled with disdain as he spoke, and Olivia was speechless.
Despite his young age, her son displayed exceptional intelligence at age four. While his peers might have been interested in toys and robots, he was captivated by complex codes and challenging LEGO sets. He could even create games to entertain himself occasionally.
However, Olivia was determined not to spoil him. “Even if it seems dull, you’re only four years old! I’m sending you to school to help you experience the joy of making friends and learn how to socialize. I hope you’ll be lively and optimistic, not a boring, reclusive homebody!”
“Mommy, you’re overthinking it!” Liam retorted sullenly. He w

school! He had been contemplating ways to sneak out in recent days, but his mother was already on to him. Mr. Valtor and Uncle Benjamin were also given strict orders not to cover for him. He felt – disappointed and frustrated!
At this time, the villa’s doorbell rang! Mr. Valtor was occupied in the kitchen while Benjamin had departed early for errands. Olivia was perplexed as she rose to answer the door. Who can be visiting so early in the morning? The new housekeeper wasn’t due to start until the next day, and her subordinates who were transferring from overseas had yet to arrive.
She opened the door in her bewilderment to find Nathan standing there! The man still had a frosty, aloof demeanor, clad in a well–tailored black suit. Bathed in the morning light, he looked like he was gilded. He stood tall and straight with broad shoulders, a slender waist, and long, muscular legs. He had a commanding presence and looked ethereal.
Meeting his gaze, Olivia was momentarily stunned, as if she hadn’t anticipated his arrival. She furrowed her brows and asked indifferently, “What brings you here?” Upon hearing her chilly tone, Nathan’s eyes darkened slightly. He answered nonchalantly, “To see Liam!” Olivia saw Ethan standing behind Nathan, carrying bags that seemed to be filled with LEGO and toys!
Not particularly eager to welcome them inside, Olivia stood in the doorway, blocking the entrance with her petite figures. She stated calmly, “Thank you, Mr. Carter, but there’s nothing of interest here. Please leave.” With that, she reached out to close the door. Nathan reacted swiftly, blocking the door with his hand. He had an icy gaze as he spoke sharply. “What’s the hurry? I’m here to see my son. Do you think you have the right to refuse me?”
Olivia felt slightly breathless when she saw Nathan come forward. The two stood on opposite sides of the door, their fingers mere inches apart. Both had assertive demeanors and could see each other’s expressions clearly.
Olivia instinctively recoiled but quickly regained her composure and said coldly, “Mr. Carter, as I’ve mentioned, the child isn’t yours. I hope you won’t misunderstand or make any further assumptions. Otherwise, my child and I will be distraught.”
