Emily’s face fell as she regained her composure. With a sharp edge to her voice, she commanded, “Nate, it’s time to go.”
Gradually roused by the commotion, Olivia stirred, her eyes fluttering open to meet the sight of a sharp jawline. Her pupils constricted, and she sat up straight.

Despite her frustration, she swiftly composed herself, maintaining a calm facade. Retrieving her phone, she casually glanced at Emily and Emma, concealing her inner turmoil beneath a veneer of nonchalance.
The expressions on Emma and Emily’s faces contorted with hostility, as if they wanted to devour her whole. Olivia cleared her throat softly, turning to the man beside her, murmuring, “Sorry.”
Nathan wished the flight could have lasted a bit longer. Shaking his head to indicate he didn’t mind, he rose from his seat to leave.
Emily, however, couldn’t bring herself to let this slide. She pointed her finger at Olivia, her voice sharp with disdain. “No matter how hard you try to get close to Nate, it’s useless!”
She was visibly agitated, and her words came out with a harsh edge.
Olivia lowered her head, veiling the disdain in her eyes. I thought Emily cared about her image, yet she kept yelling on the plane like an uncultured shrew. Oh, well. That has nothing to do with me.
She stood up. “Benjamin.”
Instantly attentive, Benjamin rushed over upon hearing his name. “Yes, Ms. Olivia?”
“Let’s go,” she commanded.
Olivia couldn’t be bothered to pay Emily and Emma any mind. Without so much as a glance in their direction, she strode past them and exited the plane.
“What a shameless person!” Emily spat with disdain.
Sensing Nathan’s displeasure, Emma intervened quickly, grasping Emily’s arm. “Mrs. Carter, we should get off too.”
Once off the plane, Olivia and Benjamin walked ahead, while Nathan and his entourage followed behind.
Emily stared at Olivia’s figure, still irritated, mostly because Olivia was no longer the compliant girl she could easily manipulate.
Meanwhile, Emma’s attention remained fixated on Nathan, who constantly stole glances at Olivia.
She clenched her jaw in silence as she directed a resentful gaze toward Olivia’s back.
“Ms. Olivia, they’re right behind us,” Benjamin whispered discreetly into Olivia’s ear.
Olivia responded with a cold chuckle, her voice carrying a hint of indifference. “Don’t bother about them.”

Nathan approached her, his voice low and steady. “Where are you headed? I can give you a lift,” he offered.
A faint smirk tugged at Olivia’s lips as she arched her brow.
Give me a lift? Emily will probably faint from anger.
“No need, I have someone picking me up,” Olivia gently declined.
As she spoke, an Alphard pulled up in front of her. A man dressed in black swiftly emerged from the vehicle.
Approaching Olivia with a respectful bow, he addressed her, “Ms. Olivia.”
Being an intelligence agent of Mystical Alcazar in Wirthon, he understood Olivia’s importance and treated her with utmost deference.
Olivia acknowledged his greeting with a subtle nod before gracefully entering the waiting car.
Benjamin followed suit, closing the door behind them. The vehicle swiftly departed from the airport, leaving Nathan standing in place, his gaze fixed on the departing car. He narrowed his eyes suspiciously.
Despite the brevity of their encounter, the man in black left Nathan with an unsettling feeling, a subtle aura of danger.
How did Olivia get acquainted with someone like that? More surprisingly, he was so respectful toward her.
It was a sensation Nathan couldn’t quite place, stirring a realization that his understanding of Olivia was far too limited.
