Olivia got into the car, saying indifferently, “I’ll leave Lionel’s matter to you and King Spades. Let’s talk about it again at night.”
“All right.” Sitting in the passenger seat, Benjamin looked back at her, nodding.
“I’ll get in touch with Master first. Come find me at Carter Group’s resort hotel later.”
Upon hearing this, Benjamin frowned. “Ms. Olivia, don’t attend the party if you’re in pain.”
He was terribly worried since she was injured.
Moreover, the Carter family and Patel family members would be there at the party. Who knows if they’ll harm her or not?
Olivia could sense his concern and offered a smile. “I’m fine. It’s just a minor injury.”
Then, she narrowed her eyes, which glinted with seriousness. “Figure out a way to extract some useful information from Lionel. This is vital for us.”
Seeing that she was still determined to attend the party, Benjamin could only nod in resignation. “I understand.”
He turned to the driver and said, “Take Ms. Olivia to the hotel first.”
The car pulled up at the hotel entrance. Before getting out, Olivia asked for Benjamin’s suit jacket.
She used it to cover the terrifying blood stain on her dress.
“Be careful, Ms. Olivia. If anything comes up, contact me,” Benjamin reminded before she entered the hotel, still not at ease about letting her attend the party.
Olivia couldn’t help but chuckle. “Don’t worry. Everything will be fine.”
With that, she turned around and walked into the hotel, handing the invitation to the hotel staff.
After verifying her identity, the staff handed her a keycard.
She entered the elevator with the keycard in her hand.
In the presidential suite on the top floor, Ethan received a call and learned that Olivia had already arrived. He promptly relayed this information to Nathan. “Mr. Carter, Ms. Olivia has arrived.”
Upon hearing this, Liam, who was sitting nearby, excitedly jumped off the couch and ran over to Nathan, asking eagerly, “Daddy, can we go find Mommy?”
Nathan closed his laptop, smiling. “Of course.”
She’s finally here.
His faint grew wider as he stood up and extended his hand toward Liam. “Let’s go find Mommy.”

She looked at her bandaged wound and smiled self–deprecatingly. I really should exercise more. Look how clumsy I’ve gotten.
After changing, she stepped out of the bathroom.
Suddenly, the tranquility of the room was disrupted by the sound of the doorbell ringing.
She furrowed her brows, wondering who could it be at this hour.
Confused, she walked over to open the door.
As soon as the door swung open, Liam threw himself at her, crying out, “Surprise, Mommy!” before she could even see who it was. Caught off guard, she fell backward.
Thankfully, the floor was covered with a thick woolen carpet, which cushioned her fall. However, the fall did aggravate the wound on her waist.
Olivia’s complexion instantly turned pale from the pain.
Liam didn’t expect to knock his mother over. Startled, he quickly got up and asked with concern, “Mommy, are you all right?”
Olivia was so in pain that cold sweat beaded her forehead, and her vision momentarily darkened. It took her quite some time to recover.
She looked at Liam in surprise. “What are you doing here?”
Shouldn’t he be at home?
Liam lowered his head and mumbled, “Daddy brought me here for a trip. I wanted to give you a surprise…”
Unfortunately, the surprise only did more harm than good.
Nathan’s here?
Olivia subconsciously glanced at the door and finally saw Nathan standing right outside.
He looked down at her, his gaze steady and pensive. His charming brows were slightly furrowed.
