The sound of Liam urging her on rang in her ears. Olivia lowered her head and shot him a glare. “You’re completely siding with your dad now.”
Liam merely responded with a sweet smile.
Naturally, he sided with Nathan because the latter was his father.
Nathan deliberately slowed his pace. Although he didn’t look back, he was still mindful of whether she was following him.
With a sense of resignation, Olivia let out a sigh before slowly going with him.
When the sound of footsteps echoed from behind, a subtle smirk played at the corners of Nathan’s mouth.
The two of them walked silently down the hallway, maintaining a distance of about three to four steps apart. Neither of them said a word.
Once they entered the elevator, the confined space held only the two of them.
Olivia took a step back, leaning into the corner, as she didn’t want to be too close to Nathan.
However, she still couldn’t shake the sense of unease.
When he noticed her actions, a hint of displeasure flashed in Nathan’s eyes. He turned his head to glance at her, his voice cool as he spoke. “So, can any man enter your room just like that?”
The thought of Benjamin having free access to her room while she kept her distance from him was truly infuriating.
Olivia paused for a moment, then quickly grasped the meaning behind his words. She gave him a puzzled look, unsure why he had suddenly brought up this topic.
However, she responded nonchalantly, “Benjamin is not just anyone.”
For Olivia, Benjamin was indeed not just anyone.
He was not only her assistant but also a reliable ally assigned by her master to protect her. Moreover, he was a great partner at work.

Just as she planned to see what was going on, she caught a sudden glimpse of a familiar figure entering through the door from the corner of her eye.

Her face lit up in delight as she immediately approached him.
At that moment, another familiar figure entered her field of vision.
It was none other than Olivia.
Olivia and Nate have come in one after the other. Could it be that Nate took so long in the restroom because he actually went to look for her?
Emma stopped in her tracks, her gaze fixed intently on Olivia. Her grip over the wine glass gradually tightened, while her other hand, hanging by her side, clenched into a fist.
