Chapter 205 No Longer Had Any Connection
Upon seeing Nathan enter, Benjamin couldn’t help but furrow his brows.
He lifted his gaze to Olivia, who signaled with her eyes that he should return to his room first.
However, Benjamin was somewhat displeased. How can I allow her to be alone with Nathan! Who knows if Nathan will do anything out of line?
Perhaps sensing his thoughts, Olivia grimaced slightly, her expression turning stern.
Benjamin heaved a silent sigh. Ultimately, he didn’t dare to defy her orders. He could only cast a deep glance at Nathan before making his departure.
Watching Benjamin walk away, Nathan felt the stifled sensation in his chest dissipate slightly.
With the bothersome person gone, he felt the air in the room had become significantly fresher.
He shrugged off his suit jacket and tossed it onto the couch before settling himself on the floor next to Liam. Then, they began to carnestly piece the LEGO set together.
At that sight, Olivia pouted. If his employees saw him sitting on the floor, what would they think? Still, this has nothing to do with me
Moreover, she had no intention of engaging in any sort of communication with Nathan
Olivia turned and went straight into the room, then closed the door behind her.
Upon hearing the sound, Nathan turned his gaze toward the closed door, a hint of complex emotions surfacing in his eyes.
“Daddy, how do you piece this together?” Liam’s voice pulled Nathan back to reality.
He shifted his gaze and patiently taught Liam how to assemble LEGO blocks.
Upon returning to her room, Olivia took a bath first. Exhausted and sleepy as she was, her original plan was to go straight to bed after her bath.
However, she accidentally dampened the bandage covering her wound, and since the doctor had specifically instructed her to keep it away from water, she could only remove the wet bandage and reapply the medication.
The wound was on her side, and she had to bend over sideways to see it. Although she could conveniently apply medicine, the action still tugged at the wound, causing her to wince with pain.
Olivia grunted softly, straightening her back in an attempt to alleviate the pain.
Unexpectedly, her hand carelessly brushed against the bottle of iodine solution that was placed on the bedside table.
Clang!
The bottle of iodine solution fell
to the a
ground, making a sound thar was neither too loud nor too soft.
The sudden commotion startled both Nathan and Liam, who were deeply engrossed in assembling LEGO in the living room.
Nathan swiftly rose to his feet and strode toward the room with his long legs.
Liam was faster. He dashed ahead and unlocked the door directly. Poking his head inside, Liam asked, “Mommy, what happened?”
the door opened, Nathan saw Olivia, who had lifted her pajamas to reveal a small section of her waist
That look in his eves starkened slightly

Still, she couldn’t get mad. After all, Liam had opened the door, and Nathan had nothing to do with it.
At that moment, Liam asked again, “Mommy, are you okay?”
Finished
Regaining her composure, Olivia forced a smile. “I’m fine. I just accidentally got my wound wet. It needs to be re–dressed.”
When Nathan heard that, his expression hardened. He strode in with a few large steps, his gaze falling onto–the woman seated on the edge of the bed. He spoke in a deep voice. “Let me take a look.”
Let you take a look? Olivia’s delicate brows furrowed deeply as she instinctively refused, “That won’t be necessary. Has he forgotten that apart from Liam, we no longer have any connection? How can I possibly let him see my body so casually?
With that thought, she subconsciously shrank back a little.
Nathan sensed her resistance and narrowed his eyes slightly, feeling quite displeased inside. She allows Benjamin to come and gol freely from her room, yet she’s unwilling to let me in. She’s even resisting letting me see her wound now
And so, he reached out, firmly holding her by the shoulders, and sternly warned, “If you don’t want your wound to get Jinfected, behave yourself.”
