Chapter 234 The Date
Later on, Olivia went to see Harry before she left.
“Pretty lady, can’t bear to part with me, huh?” Harry playfully teased.
Olivia didn’t beat around the bush and straightforwardly asked, “Can you treat one more person?”
Harry’s interest was piqued, and he asked curiously, “Who?”
Olivia clenched her hands into fists, hesitated for a moment, then responded, “The one from last time.”
The one from last time?
Harry furrowed his brows but quickly remembered who it was. A smirk tugged at the corner of his lips as he probed, “Who is he to you?”
“A nobody,” Olivia said, her tone indifferent.
She wasn’t lying. Indeed, Nathan had nothing to do with her.
“Then why’d you even bother saving him?” Harry was skeptical.
Olivia pursed her lips, hesitating for a moment before saying, “I owe him a favor, that’s all.”
Liam wouldn’t have been born if it weren’t for Nathan.
She was able to persevere over the years because of Liam,
From both an emotional and rational standpoint, she indeed owed Nathan a favor.
That’s all there is to it.
She silently persuaded herself, unaware that Harry noticed every shift in her emotions.
Harry, being a smart man, knew something was fishy.
Even though she denied any association with that man, he could still sense that her relationship with that man was probably not ordinary.
Otherwise, she wouldn’t have sought help from him.
However, he didn’t expose her. Instead, he said sagely, “So, you owe him a favor, and you’re hoping to repay it. That’s a good girl.”
Olivia frowned. A good girl? Who is he, my father?
After a moment of silence, Harry said, “I can try.”
“Really?” A look of joy spread across Olivia’s face.
She had approached him with uncertainty, thinking of giving it a shot and mentally preparing herself for his rejection. To her surprise, he agreed, albeit reluctantly.
Arching his brows, Harry added, “Yes, but I’m doing this for your sake.”
“Thank you.” Olivia let out a sigh of relief, smiling.
There is finally hope for Nathan’s condition.

However, things were different when it came to Nathan. Though Harry hadn’t personally examined Nathan, he could still tell that the illness plaguing the latter was not a simple one.
To put it more accurately, it was a tricky condition.
Otherwise, Olivia wouldn’t have come seeking help from him.
With that, Harry smirked. I do love a good challenge! But on the other hand, shouldn’t she do something to express her gratitude toward
me?
Hence, he spoke up. “Hey, you haven’t fulfilled your promise of treating me to a meal yet, have you?”
Olivia couldn’t help smiling. “Don’t worry, I’m not going anywhere.”
“Who knows?” Harry said in a half–joking manner.
Olivia raised her eyebrows slightly. “Okay then. Why wait for another day when we can do it tonight?”
All right!” Harry agreed without hesitation.
“It’s settled, then,” said Olivia, “I’ll book the restaurant and send you the address when the time comes.”
Harry flashed her a mischievous smile. “I’ll be waiting for you.”
Olivia shuddered in disgust. “Can you not make this sound weird?”
“Pretty lady, I really look forward to our date,” he said, winking at her flirtatiously.
Ah, forget it! He’s never serious anyway. Olivia gave up.
