Chapter 239 Sign It
Catching a glimpse of Olivia in the rearview mirror, Benjamin noted her serious expression after she ended her phone call. He asked with concern, “Ms. Olivia, is everything all right?”
“Left Guard has betrayed us.”
Olivia’s response left Benjamin astounded. “H–How could it be him?” he asked. Who would’ve known that the mole would turn out to be Left Guard?
“It’s hard to fathom one’s mind.” Olivia scoffed coldly. “Despite Master’s high regard for him, he still betrayed Master and Mystical Alcazar.”
“He holds many crucial secrets of Mystical Alcazar in his hands,” Benjamin said gravely. “If he were to ally himself with any faction, it wouldn’t bode well!”
The last time Shadow was ambushed, it was because he had leaked the list of the core members to Dark Syndicate.
No one knew whether he had sold that list exclusively to Dark Syndicate or if he had also sold it to other organizations.
This was also Olivia’s concern. However, that person had already escaped and disappeared.
She let out a soft sigh, her gaze shifting toward the fleeting street view outside the window. “At this point, all we can do is hope that Master can manage to bring him back,” she said.
At this point, she turned to Benjamin and said, “You should also keep an eye out on your end. He might have fled to Wirthon.”
Benjamin nodded. “Understood.”
Upon returning home, Olivia, as soon as she stepped through the door, saw Liam in the living room, engrossed in his LEGO.
The light fell upon his delicate, youthful face. His expression was one of such intense focus.
Beyond relief, what Olivia felt more intensely were heartache and guilt. All along, I’ve been consumed by work, seldom spending time with him.
With that in mind, she quickly walked over and said, “Liam, I’m back”
Upon hearing the sound, Liam turned his head. Seeing her, he flashed a brilliant smile and said, “Mommy, look at the LEGO
structure I built.”
He proudly picked up the half–assembled model car he had been working on.
“Wow!” Olivia expressed with an exaggerated look of astonishment, praising, “That’s impressive!”
“Of course.” Liam raised his chin in pride.
With a smile, Olivia gently patted his little head, saying, “I’ll keep you company.”
By almost ten o’clock, the two of them had finished assembling the car together, and Liam let out a yawn.
“Liam, it’s time for us to take a bath and go to bed,” Olivia gently said.
Liam nodded, allowing her to carry him upstairs.
After taking a bath, Liam sprawled out on the bed and before long, he was sound asleep.
Gently, Olivia kissed his forehead and left the room. She headed downstairs with the intention of tidying up the building

Puzzled, she went to open the door.
Finished
As the door opened, the sight of the towering figure standing outside immediately deepened the furrow in her brow, her expression growing colder.
She extended her hand, blocking the door frame, her voice cold. “Liam is already asleep. If you want to see him. Mr. Carter. you can wait until tomorrow.”
With that, she was about to close the door.
With a swift move, Nathan blocked the door, his intense gaze fixating not looking for him. I’m looking for you.”
Olivia paused. “Is there something you need?”

She didn’t believe there was anything to discuss between them aside from work and matters concerning Liam.
“Are you sure you want to stand here and talk with me?” Nathan asked.
Olivia didn’t want to let him in, but judging by his demeanor, she knew she couldn’t get him to leave so easily,
Olivia reluctantly stepped aside, allowing him to enter, before closing the door behind him.
“Mr. Carter, if you have something to say, just say it. It’s already quite late.” Olivia walked to the living room and sat down. She lifted her head, glaring icily at the uninvited man.
Nathan walked over and took a seat across from her. He then pulled out a document and tossed it her way. “Sign your name on it.”
Sign my name? Bewildered, Olivia glanced at the file tossed before her and asked with a laugh, “What is this supposed to be?”
“See for yourself,” Nathan said, his tone nonchalant.
