Chapter 242 Move In And Live With Me
“Sure!” Nathan’s response was quite straightforward.
Olivia pursed her lips. “All right, then. We both need to sign.”
She sat down, flipped the document open, and picked up a pen, ready to sign.
At that moment, Nathan said, “I have one more condition…”
Olivia looked up, only to hear him continue, “If you encounter a situation like tonight again, you and Liam will have to move in with me.”
Has he truly lost his mind? Olivia stared at him, wide–eyed, finding his behavior somewhat unreasonable.
“Why should I have to move in and live with you?” she questioned.
‘The child hasn’t experienced a father’s love in five years. Naturally, I wouldn’t deprive him of a mother’s love either,” Nathan said, looking at her meaningfully.
Olivia was momentarily choked up, unable to speak.
His words somehow sounded like he was blaming her for keeping Liam away from him for five years.
However, that night, because Harry misspoke, he had given Nathan some leverage over her. In truth, she lacked the confidence to engage in further arguments with him.
Therefore, she gritted her teeth, signed the document, and tossed it aside.
Nathan caught it, flipping it open to see the name she had signed. Her elegant handwriting brought a satisfied expression to
his face.
“Can you leave now, Mr. Carter?” Olivia looked at him expressionlessly.
Having put away the document, Nathan stood up, his tone indifferent as he said, “I hope that you can lead by example, Ms. Monroe.”
“Same goes for you, Mr. Carter,” Olivia retorted, unwilling to back down.
A hint of emotions flickered across Nathan’s brow. He didn’t utter a word, only gazing at her deeply before striding away.
As soon as he left, Olivia let out a long sigh of relief, a hint of mockery tugging at the corners of her mouth. As it turns out, in his heart, that’s the kind of woman I am.
Her face fell, a deep chill reflected in her eyes.
Regardless, Olivia wouldn’t give him any more leverage over her. Even though they had signed an agreement, she didn’t want to be controlled by him, nor did she want to bring Liam along to move in with him. That’s never going to happen!
Initially, the trip to Attlewich had gradually eased the tension between the two. However, after that night, their relationship had once again become strained.
As soon as Nathan got into the car, he tossed the document onto the passenger seat, yanking at his tie with a hand. He felt so agitated that it was hard for him to catch his breath.
He glanced sideways at the signed document, feeling something he couldn’t quite put into words.
Although she would be more careful about her friendships in the future, he couldn’t understand why he didn’t feel happy at all

Finished
Upon returning to Beverly Hills, as soon as he walked through the door, he saw Emily sitting in the living room.
Upon seeing his return, Emily rose and quickly walked toward him.
Before she even had a chance to speak, the visibly upset Nathan cut her off directly by saying, “If you’re here to lecture me again, please leave! I’m tired, and I don’t want to argue with you about anything!”
After he finished speaking, he walked past Emily toward the stairs.
Irritation surged through Emily instantly. She spun around, catching up to him and blocking his way. With a cold, mocking laugh, she retorted, “Do you think I wanted to come?”
Nathan looked at her with a heavy gaze, his voice devoid of any emotional fluctuation as he said, “If you didn’t want to come, you should hurry back.”
“Don’t you have anything you want to tell me?” Emily asked.
“No he responded, crisp and clear.
“You!” Emily felt as though she had a breath stuck in her chest, causing her great discomfort.
She gritted her teeth, her voice sharp with accusation. “You purposely stayed in Attlewich for two more days because of that woman. Do you even care about the Carter family, your father, or me?”
Nathan remained silent, his face expressionless.
Emily took a deep breath and scoffed. “Seems like you’ve been so bewitched lately. I bet you’ve even forgotten your father’s upcoming death anniversary
