Chapter 248 More Than Enough Money
At Lavender Club that night, Harry was seated at a booth on the second floor, sipping his drink. Out of sheer boredom, he even invited a young lady over for a chat.
Throughout this time, he would occasionally glance around nonchalantly, as if he were searching for something.
Ethan arrived at the club with his crew, scanning the entire ground floor for any sign of Harry. Seeing no sign of Harry, they decided to head upstairs.
Upon reaching the second floor, Ethan immediately spotted Harry, who was seated in the corner.
Although he had only seen Harry once at the underground marketplace, Ethan still remembered his appearance.
Ethan suppressed his inner excitement and briskly walked over. “Hey, Dr. Anderson.”
Hearing that, Harry turned his head. His eyebrows arched playfully as he feigned ignorance and asked, “And you are?”
In truth, he had noticed Ethan quite some time ago and recognized him as Nathan’s assistant.
After surveying his surroundings, Ethan leaned in and whispered into Harry’s ear, “We’ve met before at the underground marketplace that day.”
After hearing Ethan’s reminder, Harry showed an expression of sudden realization, saying, “Oh, it’s you. What can I do for you?”
“Dr. Anderson, I’d like to have a private chat with you.” With that, Ethan shot a hinting glance at the young girl by Harry’s side.
Harry went there with the sole intention of letting Ethan find him. So, without any hesitation, he gently told the young lady to leave.
“Now, you may speak,” Harry said, his long legs crossed as he leaned back against the couch, looking at Ethan with a calm and composed expression.
Ethan gathered his thoughts. “Dr. Anderson, my CEO, Mr. Carter, has been suffering from an old ailment for many years that never seems to get better. We’ve heard of your exceptional medical skills, and we were hoping you could help treat Mr. Carter.”
With a raised eyebrow, Harry chuckled. “It seems I’ve mentioned before that I don’t just casually treat people’s illnesses.”
“I understand. I really do.” Ethan nodded hastily. “We are willing to offer you any reward. Just name your price. We hope you could lend us a hand.”
Leaning over, Harry picked up the wine from the table and took a sip. A smirk played on his lips. “The one thing I’m never short of is money.”
“Still, I believe no one would complain about having too much money.”
Ethan’s words had Harry bursting into laughter. “That’s right. Indeed, no one would complain about having too much money, so…”
So? Ethan’s heart was in his throat, anxiously awaiting what Harry would say next.
Harry saw his reaction and couldn’t help but want to tease him. Therefore, he sighed and said, “Maybe I should think it over again.”
“Dr. Anderson…” Ethan couldn’t hide his disappointment, pleading urgently, “Dr. Anderson, please, Mr. Carter really needs your help.”

of recovery!
“There’s no need for formalities,” Harry said, withdrawing his hand uneasily, a sheepish smile on his face.
Just like that, Ethan returned to Beverly Hills, accompanied by Harry.
Finished
As soon as Harry entered the room, he saw Nathan lying unconscious on the bed. His expression hardened instantly, and he quickly stepped forward to rest his fingers on Nathan’s wrist.
Nathan’s pulse was predictably weak.
Harry frowned, pulling out a silver needle he always carried from his pocket and directly piercing it into Nathan’s chest.
On the side, Ethan watched in astonishment, his heart filled with anxiety.
Although he was aware of Harry’s exceptional medical skills, the sight of the needle piercing into Nathan’s chest still made him feel somewhat frightened.
After
After examining, Harry had a general understanding of Nathan’s medical condition.
Harry turned his head, looking at Ethan, and asked, “Has he been poisoned before? All these toxins have seeped into his heart. No wonder he’s suffering from angina.”
